Choi Hyun Suk

Doyoung and I walked to the canteen together with our food trays. We were going to meet with the others.

What happened the other day really pushed Doyoung and I to become even closer. He even makes the first move now and sticks with me more than ever.

When we got there Seunghun waved at us with a sandwich in his mouth, of course, Jihoon was clowning him from behind.

The table was filled with noise, small conversations, laughter and everyday things. Then, something was brought up.

"What date is it tomorrow?" Byouggon hyung asked out of the blue.

When no one answered, he looked up and wondered why we responded with silence.

"Tch, come on you really forgot?" Seunghun tapped his shoulder jokingly but with a hint of seriousness. The elder furrowed his eyebrows in confusion, it was a special day but he forgot.

Well, it's our first time experiencing this anyway.

"It's his death anniversary." Yedam mumbled, sadness evident in his voice. Byouggon hyung's expression softened and it showed how hard it hit him.

Everyone shared the same reaction.

"Pssst" Soyoung whispered and I turned my head slightly, "What's going on?" She added.

I shaked my head and mouthed the words later; she understood immediately that it was a personal topic. When dismissal came, I parted with the guys quickly and walked home with Doyoung.

"Hyung, what were you and everyone talking about a while ago? Who's death anniversary?" Doyoung asked.

"Well you see Doyoung, we had other members in our group before. Some graduated and one of them met an unfortunate accident. It's his death anniversary tomorrow. You should've met him, he was amazing you know." I briefly explained.

A few minutes of walking home and Doyoung and I came to part ways. Shortly after, Soyoung's curiousity overcame her and broke the silence. Well, it's predictable at this point. We're like each other's human diary.

"So, will you tell me?" She asked trying to be as careful as possible, even she knows its a sensitive topic.

I looked at her without any words at first, she didn't hesitate to break eye-contact though. "Fine." I gave in and she smirked.

"It was something that happened last year." I started,

"This isn't something I talk about a lot and I really shouldn't so, listen carefully alright?" In response, she nodded understanding the situation.

"Last year it was the 7 of us plus another person, Lee Midam. But he's no longer with us as you heard. It's his first death anniversary tomorrow. He... his death is a mystery too."

"How so? What happened?" The female became more curious.

"We were hanging out and we were just chilling outside of a convenience store. Jihoon and Junkyu got into an argument, they stormed off and seperated from us. Midam and Byouggon hyung came looking for those two, but when we were already complete, Midam hyung suddenly went missing."

"But the body was found?"

"It was found. It was diagnosed that he died from suffocation."

"Suffocation? In the middle of the city?"

"Exactly, that's why its a mystery."

"It's impossible for him to just die like that. He didn't have any breathing problems and it was outside so—" Before I could continue, Soyoung suddenly cut me off.

Her face became serious yet her eyes were trembling.

"T-they can hear us." As she spoke, her voice was shaking.

"What is it?" I asked, clueless of the situation. What is she saying?

"Look behind. You can atleast see them right?" She cautiously moved her gaze to meet mine, as I followed her directions, I could feel my whole body starting to shake.

Blood, eyes and uncountable figures. The eyes that was staring at us were endless. Ghosts, they were following us all this time.

school is almost over so im going to try and update as much as possible
