2) Someone who stays by his side and he can depend on

3) Someone who listens carefully to him

4) Someone who jokes around a lot and is a mood maker

5) Someone who can defend him

"Why are you telling me this?" I furrowed my eyebrows not getting what she means.

"Obviously for you to gain his trust. You don't give your trust to someone you don't like as a person right?" She replied.

"True, am I really supposed to prove all of this to him though??"

"Mhm, just show it naturally."

For someone who has consistently stayed in the same group of friends who i'm already close with, im not used to actually making the effort to be in someone's good side.

Doyoung and I are close but not as much as the other boys like Seunghun and Byouggon hyung. They might find it weird too if i'm making effort to be close to Doyoung or someone in general.

But since its already too late to back out and i've already promised to help Soyoung, there's nothing that I can do and just follow what she says.

"Here goes nothing." Well, I need to motivate myself atleast.

[ON MONDAY]

Soyoung and I have agreed that this'll be the first day I try and be on Doyoung's good side. When he was staying over he wanted to leave quickly in order to not be a nuisance as he said so I didn't get to talk to him that much.

Luckily, we're in the same group of friends so it won't be hard to talk to him or find him. There'll be less awkwardness too so thank God for that.

But I shouldn't depend on the others, I have to make an effort of my own.

I was walking through the canteen just wanting to buy a drink. As a coincidence, I found Doyoung nearby.

He was at the ice cream stall, looking at the sections and what to buy.

Wait, is he planning to eat ice cream?? This early in the morning??

Soyoung nudged me in the shoulder and told me with her expression, Do the first one on the list. That's how I read it

Well, I have no choice.

"Doyoung-ah, what are you buying?" I walked up to the younger and greeted him in a cheerful tone, not too unusual right?

"Oh just getting some popsicle. Its almost a routine for me to buy it here in the canteen every morning." He let out a small laugh.

"Let me pay for it." I took out my wallet and treated him.

"Wait are you sure hyung?" His eyes went wide and was taken aback. He knows that im not this kind of person and if I saw myself just randomly treat a person then i'd honestly be shocked also.
