Yong Soo's Point of View

I plopped myself down on the couch after I finished my paperwork. Being a nation was exhausting. The Philippines finished hers days ago. I ran my hands through my short hair as I tried to wind down. When I walked into my bedroom I changed into my nightclothes and went into the living room to see her reading an article online.

"Oh. Hello Korea." She said coldly. She never called me just Korea. She usually always said my name or said South Korea.

"Hello Maria. Whatcha reading da-ze?" I asked sitting next to her. She shut her computer and set it aside. She then looked at me in disgust. She rolled her eyes then looked away. I laid my hand on her arm. "Is something wrong Maria?" I asked her. She yanked her arm away and answered.

"Yes. Something is wrong. Don't touch me." She spat. I gasped. She's never been this distant or tsundere before. I looked at her in confusion. "Don't call me Maria. Why don't you be respectful and call me by my nation. The Philippines. Why can't you get that past your hard skull you jerkface!" She said. She smacked my across the face.

"Ow... what? What was?" I mumbled.

"Oh. I hurt you? That's nothing compared to what your people did to mine. You hypocrite!" She yelled. "I can't stand to see your face! I wish I never came with America to take part in your little war!" She said. She grabbed her purse and stomped out the front door. "I'm going to Brunei's and there is nothing you can do about you vile man!" She said as the door slammed. Wha...what? I held the cheek she slapped.

"But....but I had no choice." I mumbled. Tears slowly made their way down my face. As I opened my eyes I could see darkness as lightning strikes throughout the sky. I breathed in relief. It was just a bad dream. My heart beat returned to normal. I didn't even notice the dried tears on my cheeks

"Oh OUCH! South Korea!" She yelled in pain. My heart almost stopped.

"What's the matter?" I asked frantically.

"Ouch! My arm. Let me go." She said groggily her eyes still close shut. I then looked to see my hands clamped around her arm. I then quickly released her.

"I'm so sorry." I said softly.

"Hmm? It's okay." She said. Her back was facing me as she tilted her head back. "You okay Yong Soo?" She asked. I then pulled her to my chest and held her like my life depended on it.

"Just a bad dream. I'm fine." I assured her. I nuzzled my face into the crook of her neck.

"What was it about?" She asked turning to face me. When she saw my face she frowned and gently wiped the tears from my eyes. I gently grabbed one of her hands and took a deep breath.

"Well. It started out okay but something was strange when I started talking to you. You kept snapping at me and then you left me for Brunei." I said.

"Hey." She said making me make eye contact with her. "I wouldn't leave you. Especially not for Brunei. (Sorry PhilBru and Brupiri shippers. I respect that ship but this is just for this story.)

What did I say" She asked.

"Well you said that you couldn't even look at my face because of what I did during World War Two and that you wished you never came with America to help me fight in the Korean War." I said softly.

"Yong Soo. You remember what I said right?" She asked.

"That I'll forget the past and start a new future with you. South Korea, you should too. I've already forgiven you. You can't help that you were occupied by Japan. Heck, you weren't even a country back then." She said. "Come on. Let's just go back to sleep." She rested her head on my chest and wrapped her arm my waist.

South Korea's is finished.

I'm sorry that the positions are the same for both. But that's the fluffier not awkward one I can think of.

I hope you liked this :)
