Chapter 38: Pixie

"Pixie!"

"Glair. Tertle. I've missed you."

The trainer smiled at the happy reunion, not that she had any idea what was happening. (This whole trainer thing is gonna be hard, how the heck am I supposed to work her into the story?)

The human stood and started towards the portal, "Come on girl, time to go, your friends can come too." I nodded at the trainer and we followed her.

We walked into the portal and found ourselves at the entrance to the temple.

Tertle frowned at me, "Pixie, were you... captured?"

Glair gasped. "Pixie, No!"

I couldn't help but laugh, damn I'd missed them. "No, let me explain. This here -I gestured at the girl- is Adrie. She was at Alcarmia castle back when we were. When I got thrown out the wall Adrie saw me, and stopped me from drowning, she saved my life."

Tertle nodded. "That explains why I couldn't find you in the river."

I nodded back at him, then frowned. "Where's Jacob?"

Glair answered. "He's back at the safehouse, after what happened at the castle we went back, Jacob gave a speech and Archie was kicked out, Simipour's gone missing so Jacob's now the leader."

I growled at Archie's name. "I'm going to kill that Arcanine."

Tertle and Glair exchanged a glance and frowned. "What, what is it?"

Glair wouldn't look at me, Tertle sighed. "Don't worry, I'll tell her."

"Tell me what?"

"It's Jacob, he, he's not the same, after Archie used that crystal on him, Jacob changed."

"What do you mean?"

"Jacob... he killed Archie."

"What..."

"Pixie we're worried about him, he's trying to save the world, but first, he needs someone to save him."
