Four Paws and A Tale

Chapter 39: Pixie

We were in the village near the Madeira Desert, Glair, Tertle and I were sitting on a table, a map was spread out in front of us, Adrie was studying it and had a book open in front of her. The book was titled; 'Alcarmia; The First King'.

"Pixie what's with this girl? What's she doing?" Tertle asked.

"Oh, she's a Pokémon Trainer, her partner Pokémon and oldest friend has gone crazy, she's collecting the Tears of Princes to try and save him."

"You know about the Tears of Princes?" Glair asked.

"Yeah, that book tells all about them, it was in the library back at Alcarmia Castle. Long ago a Mythical Pokémon named Zeraora created the gems for the first King of Ardua, he also created something called the Shadow Crystal. The book says that the Shadow Crystal has the power to make people and Pokémon go crazy and the only way to stop it is gathering the Tears of Princes."

Tertle nodded. "Jacob told us that, though I don't think he knows about Zeraora." (Guess again Tert!)

"So that's why you were in the temple?"

"Yep!" Glair said. "We're collecting the Tears as well, we got one, where are the other two?"

I nodded, "Actually we got two. The other Tear was all the way over here." I pointed at the map with a paw and the others leaned in to see.

"Valiha Volcano?" Glair asked.

I nodded. "That was the first Tear we collected, it was in the heart of the volcano and it was freaking hot, even for me."

Tertle asked a question now. "What about the third?"

I frowned. "The last one is at Alcarmia Castle, Adrie already tried to get it. This Tear was guarded by Cresselia, the one at the volcano was guarded Heatran and the one at the castle is protected by a Mega Lucario."

Tertle 'Hm'd' (An increasingly frequent occurrence...) "H'm, he must not be effected by the Shadow Crystal because he's so close to the Tear."

Adrie sighed in frustration and looked at me. "Well girl, what now? We can't beat that Mega Lucario."

I walked onto the map and pointed at a spot on the coastline, on the edge of a forest was a cliff, with a cave on top of it. Adrie frowned at me, I yipped at her reassuringly.

"Ok girl, you haven't steered me wrong yet."
