Chapter 6

This morning i didn't greet Jungkook with a good morning like i usually do. I wasn't in the mood today.

I did my work and didn't bother to walk into Jungkooks office, not even once.

It was time for lunch and I'm in the kitchen making a salad. When i finish, i bring my bowl of salad back to my desk and eat while i do my work.

I wanted to finish it quickly as possible so i could head home earlier.

I hear Jungkook clear his throat and i stop eating. I quickly stand up and look up at him.

"Did you need something Mr. Jeon?"

"No..i just wanted to check up on you"
I nod and sit back down in my chair.

"Ah..why?"

"You didn't say good morning to me this morning like you always do"

I gulp, "I'm sorry..I must've forgotten today"

"Are you feeling okay?"

I smile and nod, "of course! Don't worry about me and get back to work"

He slowly nods and has a weird look on his face, like he didn't believe me.

He walks back inside his office and sits back in his chair behind his desk.

A few hours go by again and i finished my work early. I wrote on a post-it note that i was leaving work early because i finished my work earlier than expected and that i had to leave due to something personal.

I stuck the post-it on my computer where he could see it and left the building.

When i got home, i showered and got into bed.

Why do I keep acting this way? He isn't even my man..i don't even like him..my heart only beats because no guy has ever treated you the way he treats you..that's right..this is why. So stop acting so weird..you don't actually like him cha y/n.

"You don't.." i say out loud. After being in such deep thoughts, i managed to fall asleep.

"Good morning" i say to Jungkook before going to sit in my desk.

While I'm taking off my coat and setting down my things, jungkook leans against his door frame.

"Do you feel better today?"

I smile, "i do"

"That's good. I'm glad" he walks back inside his office and sit down in my chair.

While I'm sorting out Jungkooks schedule for today, i get a call.

"Jeons Visuals how may i-"

"Put me on call with Jungkook" the woman on call says.

I recognized her voice and flashbacks came back to when she was in Jungkooks office two nights ago.

"I'm sorry but-"

"I said to put me on call with him" she says through her teeth.

"Alright, hold on" i call jungkook first, "you have a call. She seems angry"

I hear him sigh on the other line, "put her on" "yes" and i phone her through.

I look inside his office to see him rubbing his temples.

That's none of your business Cha y/n...
And i get back to sorting out Jungkooks schedule.

When I finish, i knock on Jungkooks door and he looks up at me and gestures me to come in.
