Chapter 24

Forgive yourself for falling in love with his potential, and for believing he
would change some day

"You have to stop blaming yourself y/n. It taught you something, you learned your lesson." Yoongi tries to convince me.

"I'm not trying to rush you, of course take your time to learn how to forgive yourself. Just know that it's okay." He lastly says.

"Yeah, take your time love" Namjoon rubs my back.

"You did good. All you needed was closure and you got it. We are very very proud of you" jin smiles.

I let out a deep breath, "thank you guys so much"

"No need to thank us. We're doing this because we want to and because we love you" Jimin ruffles my hair.

"How's he doing?" I ask them without saying Jungkook's name. They knew who I was talking about without having to mention his name.

"Good. Not heartbroken, that's for sure. Clubbing every now and then, working on his new company still. He doesn't talk about you or bring you up. It's like he never met you" Hoseok answers.

"Good, let's keep it that way"

"But deep down you wish he would be sad or speak about you here and there. You wish he showed he cared." Taehyung suddenly says.

I look at him and furrow my brows, Giving him the look.

"What, you know I'm right"

"Still, i'm Trying to tell myself that I shouldn't think that way. That i need to move on. I need to stop having lingering feelings for him"

"Take your time, don't rush. Love yourself first before you love someone else" Namjoon tells me and takes a sip of his glass of water.

"You and your wise words" I giggle.

I sigh and lean back on the couch.

"I need to find a dream. A goal. Something to do with my life" i say.

"hopefully you do fine one and it'll come true. Even if you don't have a dream, it's okay. It's possible not to have one. You just have to be happy" yoongi smiles.

"Seriously, why are you guys so smart" I tell them all and their faces light up.

"Only smart for you" taehyung points at me and winks.

I laugh, throwing a pillow at him, "don't do that again"

He giggles and catches the pillow.

"I haven't seen you smile and laugh like that in a while" Jimin tells me.

I smile, "i don't think I have laughed and smiled like this in a long time either. It's thanks to you guys"

Jimin's POV

"So how are you" I ask Jungkook who was sitting in his chair infront of his tv playing video games.

"What do you mean. I'm fine" he says, still keeping his eyes on the screen.

He was barely even paying attention to me. He was too focused on his game more than the conversation.

"How's y/n?" I ask, trying to catch him off guard but it doesn't work.

"Y/n? I don't know. You guys spend more time with her so why are you asking me. Ah! Yah! Go the other way!" He says and yells into his mic to the other players in the game.
