Would've given you the moon

Chapter 7

His eyes pierced through mine and I didn't know if he was being serious or not.

Jungkook walked towards me and pulled me up from my chair.

"What do you say?" He asks.

"We've been talking for quite some time now..i think it's time we make it official" he continues.

He leans down to whisper into my ears, "I'm not being serious. All for show"

He backs away and smiles at me.

"Okay, let's make it official"

I rest my hands on his forearms and get on my tippy toes, kissing his left cheek.

He seemed a bit shocked but Rosé didn't notice.

Rosé clears her throat and jungkook and i both look at her.

"Congrats...no need for you guys to get all mushy mushy in front of me"

Jungkook and i laugh, "exactly, so why don't you go"  and he points to the direction of the elevators.

Rosé seemed a bit annoyed but she gladly left.

When she left, i let out a huge sigh.

Jungkook chuckles, "she scares you?"

"No..I'm just tired"

"Of what?"

I look him in the eyes for a while before breaking eye contact.

"Everything"

He gives me a look that seemed as he was confused.

"We should get back to work.." i say as i sit back down in my chair, facing my computer.

"Right.." he turns around and walks inside his office.

I did my work and before i knew it, it was lunch break.

I need some fresh air. The air is too thick today..

I walk down the street to the new cafe that just opened.

"Wah...this place looks so aesthetic" i say when i walk in while looking around.

I order a "suga with tae" and it was delicious.

The moment i walk out, it started to rain. Pouring rain.

"I didn't bring an umbrella" i reach my hand out to feel the rain.

"Should i just make a run for it?" I bite my bottom lip as i was trying to think of a solution.

I made up my mind that I would make a run for it.

I took a step, stuck my phone in my skirt and made a run for the crosswalk.

While I'm waiting for the sign to turn green, i realized that I couldn't feel the rain anymore. I look up thinking the rain had stopped but it didn't.

An umbrella was put over me.

I turn around to see who it was and it was Jungkook.

"You're going to get sick" he says.

"Yeah..and so are you if you don't get under this umbrella as well."

I pull him under the umbrella with me and try to fit us both under the umbrella.

I hear the sound of the crosswalk telling us to cross.

As jungkook and i walk across the street, i notice he was barely under the umbrella again. He was getting soaked.
