Chapter 15

I was hoping I would never have learn
to live without you.
[but I had to]

"So what are going to do?" I ask jungkook when we enter his office.

"Start over. Go through my emails again and start putting all these orders in order from when they're due. Then putting them in a file to print out."

"Okay, why don't you start from here to here and i'll Work on here to here" I point to his computer screen.

He nods, "okay, thanks" he starts typing and I walk out of the office to my desk to grab my laptop so I could work in Jungkooks office instead.

Time went by and it took quite a while to get everything in order.

The room was quiet and the only thing being heard was the typing sounds from our keyboards.

It was almost time for me to end work but I decided to stay late and finish things up so Jungkook wouldn't have so much work.

It was around 10:30 pm already and I was tired of looking at my laptop screen.

I finished putting everything in order and walked up to jungkook's desk. He was finished as well.

"Done?" He asks and looks up at me from his screen.

I nod.

"Let me share the file with you and you can copy and paste it on here"

He shares the file with me and I do as he told me.

After we finished up and printed the orders, it was time to head home.

"Okay well, I'm sorry that all this happened today. I feel like it was my fault and I should've gone to check up on her when she did the work" i bow apologetically.

"It's fine, we got the work done and that's all that matters." He packs his things up and we both leave the office. He locks his door and we head to the elevators.

the elevator was quiet, neither one of us said a word.

"Good night jungkook" i say and bow with both hands in front of me.

"Good night" he says and walks to his car.

For some reason something felt off but i don't know what.

When i got home, i threw my purse on my couch and laid on the floor. Gaji, my dog came running towards me and licked my face.

"Ah! Yah!" I giggle and quickly sit straight up.

He sits and stares at me with his tongue sticking out.

I sigh, "sometimes i wish i was a dog. I wouldn't have so much to worry about" i pet him.

He barks and i kiss the top of his head.

"You're the only one who understands me Gaji-ah"

He sits on my lap and I continue to pet him.

When i walked into the company, i was greeted by the doormen as usual.

I saw Jimin waiting in front of the elevator doors.

I quickly went to him.

"Hey, what are you doing here?" I ask, standing next to him.

He turns around and looks down because i was shorter than him.

He smiles brightly, "oh hey, nothing related to work. Just came to visit Jungkook"

I nod and the elevator doors open.
