A couple of days after the scan, Dan came home so I decided to book plane tickets to go surprise Colby. My flight is in three days time and I'm questioning if it's such a good idea. Jade keeps telling me to go but I can't get the thought of it being a bad idea out of my head. What if he doesn't want me? What if I go and there's another girl there? What if I get rejected and end up having nowhere to stay whilst I'm there? Jade keeps telling me to stop overreacting and to grow a pair. In the end, I did go, despite having like twenty panic attacks just thinking about it.
Before my flight, I got Jade to text me Colby's address and she wished me luck. Thanks, I'm going to need it. When I got off the plane, I got in a taxi to go to his address. I thanked the taxi driver and had a minor breakdown before knocking on the door.
I stood outside the front door, trying to gather up the courage to knock. My heart was pounding so hard against my chest, I thought it was going to explode. Eventually, I gained the courage to knock on the door. I held my breath until he answered.
I didn't say anything, I just smiled, staring into his gorgeous blue eyes. He just stood there, frozen from shock. When he came back to the land of the living, he practically tackled me. He picked me up, wrapping my legs around his waist and kissed me deeply, making me forget where I am.
"I need a place to stay," I whispered against my lips. All it took was those words for him to get my bag and take me inside. He closed the door behind us and pushed my back up against it.
"What are you doing here?" he asked, never breaking eye contact.
"I wanted to see you and I thought you'd like a surprise." He slammed his lips against mine, causing me to moan, slightly, from shock. I melted into the kiss, wrapped my arms around his neck and began playing with his hair. He began sliding his hand up my shirt but I stopped him in his tracks and just held his hand. I could tell he was disappointed but definately wasn't going to do anything I wasn't willing to do. I pulled away, leaving our noses touching.
"Can we watch a film, I'm kinda tired?" He nodded, took me over to the sofa and started setting up a film. He went and got blankets from his room and ordered pizza. I was starving.
When the pizza arrived, he sat down next to me and we ate it all whilst watching the film. Once we'd finished, he took out the empty pizza box. When he sat back down, I cuddled up to him. He wrapped his arm around my shoulder, making me feel safe in his precense. It didn't take long for sleep to take me away.
