I opened my eyes and looked around, I wasn't sure what I searched for. I looked down and saw the empty bottle of blood rolling around.

At first I was a little disgusted with myself, but then I remembered the thirst, and that guilt was forgotten.

I am ashamed to say I picked up the empty bottle and licked the remnants of blood.

I was hungry. No, more like thirsty.

I could go back to the blood room and get some more, but I was a little ashamed.

Which is stupid, everyone here is into the same variety of food.

I left the bottle behind and went into the bathroom. I did my morning business quickly, and changed into a fresh pair of clothes.

My outfit was a simple jeans with a
T-shirt.

After my quick shower, I looked at the small bag Trisha brought.

If it was mine, I might as well find out what's in it. It's not like I had a choice on going to the Lethic faction, but If was going there I wanted to be prepared.

I opened it slowly and was shocked to find my old clothes. They we're mostly clothes I wore in school, but I was glad there were here.

My door opened and My sire and Serena walked in.

Their eyes caught the bottle of blood, and the looked back at me.

"I was hungry". I explained, I still haven't figured out if I was hungry or thirsty. It feels more like both.

"It's time to leave Child, we can't delay this anymore. It is going to happen".

At my sire's words, Serena added.

"His right, if we don't deliver you there, Lord Travis will come and get you himself, and trust me when I say this, nobody wants that".

I nodded and carried the bag. I had already talked myself into doing this. I had to.

Vanessa had to. If she could do it, so can I.

But Vanessa died on her wedding day.

I just had to hope that wouldn't be me. I mean how hard could it be?

All I have to do is stand by his side and look pretty.

We walked slowly while listening to Lucien talk. "You will be escorted by Trisha and some other soldiers. Don't worry child, all will go well".

I wanted to ask how he could be so sure, but I stopped my self. What use would it make? It wouldn't change a thing.

Sighing in defeat, I walked down the stairs. It wasn't so hard this time, I didn't even realize when I took the last step on the stairs.

Maybe, I was going to enjoy being a vampire.

But before I leave, I had a question.
"Will I feel the pain of being turned?" I asked Lucien. A part of me knew the answer but I still wanted it confirmed.

"Yes child, you will. You should expect it in a few days or so".

I sighed, but without a word, I carried on walking.

A girl just can't win.

I sighted Trisha, and I ran to her. I hugged her like It was the last time, which it was. I might never see her going.

"I want to cry, but am not allowed to". She said, wiping fake tears from her eyes.

I laughed. "Am going to miss you".

"I know". She nodded in greeting to Lucien and Serena. She took my hands and entered in the SUV car. I didn't even realize there were cars parked around.

"The Blade faction would be waiting for a chance to get their hands on you, so we had to come up with a disguise".

The vehicle started and as we moved, so did two vehicles at our back. I realize three vehicles was ahead of us.

This was in no way a disguise. Anyone one who sees six SUV vehicles moving at the same line would be suspicious of something.

Shaking my head, I looked at the window and watched the tree and city fly bye.

I didn't know how long we drove, thanks to my quick nap. But I was definitely awake when we stopped at a desert.

Seeing no life whatsoever, I had to ask. "Why are we stopping".

"This is as far as we go, if we go any further, we cross the boundaries".

What freaking boundaries?

I was going to ask that, but then I remembered that the Lethic faction had some kinda spell on their faction. It kept them hidden.

Trisha stepped out of the car and I slowly followed. In my hand was my bag.

We walked and stopped when we saw a star shaped coin.

It was big and golden like the sun.

Far ahead I could see a man and a woman heading our way.

They walked with vampire speed and were quickly standing before us.

No word was said as they took my hand and led me into the desert like place.

I looked back at Trisha, and all I could see was her retreating back.

Sighing, I watched as the desert faded before my eyes, and it's place was a beautiful golden castle.

A castle made for a king.

"Welcome to your new home" The beautiful pale woman beside me said.

A new home indeed.
