"You know, you should really wear those more often," Annabeth's voice is low and distracting in the relative quiet of her bedroom. Bon Iver hums from the speakers in the corner and sunlight falls through the open window, bathing them in warmth and a faint summer breeze.

Percy looks up from his biology homework. Annabeth sits with her back against her pillows and a smirk playing at her lips. She looks impossibly gorgeous in a shirt and a blue skirt, her own notes lying dormant in her lap as she stares at him.

"Wear what more often?"

"Your glasses."

Percy cringes and looks down, avoiding her intent gaze and readjusting the thick rims on his nose. He usually wears contacts, but he'd dropped them on the floor this morning. And last time he'd done that and just washed and used them anyway, he'd gotten an eye infection which had left him wearing an eye patch for a week. As he didn't fancy playing pirate again, he threw them and donned the glasses he barely ever wore. The bed shifts as Annabeth sets down her abandoned homework and crawls over to him. Her finger hooks under his chin and tilts it up.

"Don't hide from me," she says softly. "You've done that for long enough."

Her golden hair frames her face as she leans towards him and he wants to push it back, to see her. But his hands lie useless on top of his biology homework and he doesn't move them. Until Annabeth plucks the notes from his lap and tosses them on the floor. He doesn't watch them scatter across the floorboards because his eyes are still trained on her; on her bright eyes surrounded by eyelashes, pink cheeks, soft glossy lips curved into a smile.

Percy lifts his hand slowly to her face to push her hair back and she leans into his palm. She's soft and warm and beautiful and he still can't understand why she's remotely interested in him. Him, Percy Jackson; the nerd with a total of two friends and an ability to keep his head down at school. And Annabeth Chase, who is smart and pretty and utterly glorious.

"Seriously," she says, "I love the glasses. They make you look cute."

If her words haven't made him blush the tone of her voice certainly does. "Really?" he asks with some doubt.

Annabeth grins. "Really."

He's so close to the edge of the bed that he has to place a hand on the comforter behind him to brace himself as Annabeth climbs into his lap, parting her bent knees on either side of his hips. And okay, they've done plenty of fooling around in the six weeks they've been dating, but Percy is now acutely aware that her short skirt leaves her smooth, long legs very bare.

His stuttered breath is swallowed by her kiss as she bends forward, holding his cheeks between her palms and arching against him. Percy's mind goes blank, but he manages to hold them upright as his free arm circles her waist. Her mouth moves from his to kiss down his jaw, suck bruises into his neck, stifle a laugh against his skin as he groans deep in his throat. That wakes Percy up. Both of his hands find her sides and he leans into her pushing her back onto the pillows; Annabeth's legs stay around his hips and pull him down on top of her even as he catches himself on his elbows.

"Okay," she says, slightly breathless- Percy notes with a surge of smugness- as he leans down and kisses her throat, feeling her pulse stir under his lips, "Maybe you shouldn't wear those glasses when we're trying to study. If my grades drop my mom will kill me."

He pulls back to stare at her. "You're thinking about your mom right now?"

Annabeth bites her lip, twists her fingers into his hair and pulls. "No. Now shut up and kiss me again, Seaweed Brain."

And he did, all the while thinking that he might just go ahead and wear his glasses all the time from now on.

Hey, sorry for the long update. I hope this is okay. This one-shot is only going to be a two-parter.

Happy Valentine's Day for everyone! I hope y'all are doing great. Remember, it's just another day and it's not special or any different in your life.

Unless you have a date ._. Then aren't just a lucky butt? XD

Anyways, cute story here about me if you guys wanna hear about it:

So yesterday, which is Friday, Feb. 13 around 8 a.m., I arrived at my school. I went to my locker to get my books for my first class. And guess what I found in my locker. An envelope. With my name on it with neat writing. Also with chocolate.

And I was shocked. I thought it was some kind of prank but I know it wouldn't fit through the little slits of the locker. Also, no one knows my combination lock other than 2 people that I really trust. I know that one of them isn't the person 'cause she wouldn't bother doing it. And I was only left with one option: one of my guy friends.

I swear my heart started beating fast and I slowly opened the envelope. There was a piece of paper folded inside so I opened it. Drawn on the paper is a simple but crudely drawn and colored red heart. Inside the heart was written: "Will you be my Valentine?"

I probably looked like a darn tomato in the middle of the hallway.

On the bottom of the paper was signed: "From: Landshark" And I knew exactly who it's from. It was from said guy friend.

After I got my books and myself together, I was determined to find him. I realized then that maybe it's like a rhetorical question and he also gave them to many of his "girlfriends". I still laugh every time people say he has one and it's not that I'm jealous or like him. 'Cause honestly I don't know if I do. I don't really know if I like anyone and I think that the whole dating thing is pretty stupid at my age. Anyways.

I found one of the girls that I'm friends with who hangs out with him. I asked her if she got a note in her locker and she said no. Okay. I told myself, maybe it is an actual question.

So I went back to looking for him and I bumped into him in the hallway when the warning bell rang. You should've seen the look on his face. His eyes went wide and his face turned red right away XD. Anyways,

I asked him: "Hey! The note. Is it an actual question?"

Him (still red) : "Yeah."

Me with a smile: "Then yes."

He nodded and we separated to go to our classes.

It was so darn cute and dorky oh my gods XD I couldn't believe he actually did that XD.

But I don't know if he likes me :/
I wouldn't mind if he does. But it doesn't mean that when he likes me, I'll start liking him. 'Cause I don't know if I actually do like him.

So yeah that was my Valentine's story XD. Oh! We FaceTimed the next day which is Valentine's Day. It was cute.

Okay bai now :)
