Percabeth One-Shots

Juggling

"I'm in the shower!" Percy yells. "And Mira's (A/N: Idk what I should name their percababy or what his/her gender should be, in this case Mira is a girl. If you guys don't like the name and gender then you guys can change it XD) crying. Can you get her?"

"Already got her!" Annabeth shouts back. She cradles the infant in her arms, juggling her cellphone and her laptop as she bounces the crying baby. "Shh, Mira," she singsongs. "Give me two minutes, sweetie, just gotta put this stuff down."

"Excuse me, Ms. Chase?" the pharmacist says.

"Sorry!" Annabeth replies. "Sorry, I just need to refill the medication, the, um..." She pauses for a moment, trying to remember despite the total sleep deprivation. "Oh, gods, the baby colic medication and the antibiotics."

"Names?"

"Percy Jackson for the antibiotics, Mira Jackson for the colic."

"And when will you be picking this up?"

Annabeth goes to respond, but Mira wails into the phone. "Tomorrow afternoon," says Annabeth. "I'm sorry, I have to go."

She whacks the screen of her phone with her nose, bouncing it around a few minutes until she hits the end call button, and groans as it falls to the ground.

"Here," says Percy. He takes Mira from Annabeth, then bends to grab the phone. He kisses Annabeth on the forehead. "You need to be in bed."

"No, no," says Annabeth. "I'm good, I can multitask, I can-" Annabeth yawns, and the action makes her sore c-section scar burn (A/N: comment if you get why she got a c-section), even though it's been three months since Mira was born.

"You can sleep," Percy says firmly. "You can look at those new files later."

Annabeth nods, accepts a kiss from Percy, then stumbles into bed. "Night," she mumbles, and she crams a square of ambrosia in &her mouth before she passed out.
