Jayden's POV
A week after our release, we went to Vivian's first appointment to check up on the baby.
Turns out, the baby is perfectly healthy, even after the whole thing with her father.
Who's in prison, no trial, just straight to prison.
They checked his gun shot wound and sent him off after he was healed; which didn't take very long.
My fiancé is so beautiful, I think to myself as the doctor is telling her about the baby's health.
"Your baby is perfectly fine, no injuries do to your...previous situation," Dr. Roberts beams.
"Thank you, Dr. Roberts," Viv says with a soft smile, placing her hand on her growing belly, "I'm so glad it's okay."
"Me too," I say, snaking my arm across her waist.
She giggles, making my heart flutter, such a beautiful sound.
"Well, your all set to go. Make sure you keep continuous appointments, so that we can make sure the baby stays in good health," the doctor smiles, picking up her chart and opening the door, "congratulations, by the way," she leaves the room after giving us a smile.
