* If you haven't seen the promo for 3x15 then you most likely will not understand! There is a falice scene where Alice asks FP if he still loved Gladys! Here is my take on the scene*
FP's birthday party was terrible! That's when Alice found out that Gladys was back in town and seeing her all over FP made her incredibly mad! She didn't understand, she thought her and FP were doing good meeting in private and hiding their amazing relationship. She needed answers so she went to see him after the party after she walked out, not wanting to see anymore of her then there already was...
She walked through the sherif office doors to spot MR. Jones behind his desk. Their eyes immediately met and they could each feel the tension in the room.
"So your wife is back and you didn't think of telling me?" She states as she shuts the door.
"You never called" he responded playing with some papers on his desk
"So now I'm suppose to call every time you want to talk to me?" She asks as she walks towards his desk.
"No I just.. I just didn't know what to do okay I'm sorry Alice!" He says as he runs his hand through his hair.
She needed to know if he wanted her or Gladys. She couldn't make all these mistakes again! She had to be sure they were going to go somewheres. She sighs.
"Do you love her, FP?" She asks as a few tears threaten to drop from her eyes.
He looked down at the floor, not sure what the answer was.
"I don't know" he shrugged trying his best not to make eye contact.
"How do you not know if you love someone?" She asks nervously.
"Alice she's the mother of my children!" He says getting up from his chair, heated.
Alice sighs as she held her breath, she wanted to respond but couldn't bare say it. So she just looked away which obviously made FP even angrier.
"What Alice? What could you possibly say about that?" He yelled angrily.
"Im the mother of your child too" she responds, and that's when the tears finally fell from her eyes.
He immediately mentally slapped himself. He couldn't believe he forgot, and that he was being so rude.
"Alice listen I'm so sorry I'm-" he tries to put his arms around her but fails as she pulls away.
"He's dead and it's my fault, this is stupid I'm just gunna go home" she cries as she starts to walk out the door.
"No Alice listen, it's not your fault! And I don't love her I love JellyBelly! I'm in love with the idea of family! I love y-"
"Save it FP!" She says cutting him off which caught him off guard.
"This is your second chance, get your family back together! I don't want to be the reason Jughead and Jellybean can't be happy with their family" she whimpers.
"Please don't do this Alice" he says as tears threaten to start to fall from his eyes.
"It's done" she says as she caresses his cheek.
He cups her face in his hands, their lips inching closer together, they could feel each other's breathes.
"Goodbye FP"
She pulls away and walks out of the office. He was in disbelief. He just let the love of his life walk out again!
He sighed as he sat on his chair and looked at the picture frame he had, hidden in his desk of him and Alice. He smiled as a tear trickled down his cheek.
He loved her, not Gladys. And you could see it.
