It's been one year, eleven months and one day since [Name] [Surname] vanished off the face of the Earth.

It's been one year, eleven months and one day since [Name] [Surname] saw anything other than the walls of the rooms of the hallowing house that confined her and her freedom.

It's been one year, eleven months and one day since [Name] [Surname]'s memories were erased.

It's been one year, eleven months and one day since [Name] [Surname] was locked away by a jealous lover who saw her as a prized treasure at the risk of being stolen by any rival admirers.

It's been one year, eleven months and one day since [Name] [Surname] was last herself.

Just twenty nine more days until her birthday, thought a grim Sasuke as he unlocked the front door of his and [Name]'s grand home.

It was a rather glorious abode for only two people: a mansion boasting of seven rooms, two living rooms, three bathrooms and a kitchen, with not a single soul, dead or alive, hired by the young raven to do any form of housekeeping. In fact, no one, not even his family or closest friends, were ever allowed to set foot in his home as long as he kept [Name] there. No, he was intent on keeping his safe haven secluded and isolated from the prying eyes of outsiders, concealing his greatest treasure from the rest of the world.

[Name] [Surname].

Ah, how the young Uchiha could gush about her all day. From her lush, [h/c] tresses to her soft, [skin colour] skin, Sasuke was truly, madly, deeply infatuated with her. And nothing, absolutely nothing, would ever separate her from him.

"[Name]! I'm home!" he called out as he stepped into the foyer and quickly shut the door behind him. Before him were two staircases that each wound up into separate areas of the mansion, all majestic and grand. He could hear footsteps scurrying down the one on his left, and he looked up with a smile on his face, knowing what to expect. Sure enough, [Name] was rushing down to him, looking as flawless and innocent as ever.

"Welcome home, Sasuke!" she exclaimed, dressed in the maid's uniform the Uchiha specifically instructed her to wear. She stood before him, a good few inches shorter than him, beaming with her hands clasped together. Sasuke looked the girl up and down, examining every inch of her body.

"How was work?" she asked brightly, standing on the tips of her toes and wrapping her arms around the raven's neck. He smiled softly as he wrapped his arms around her waist, hoisting her into the air.

"Absolutely tiring," he murmured, burying his face into the crook of her neck. [Name] giggled, and let go of the Uchiha, holding him at arm's length.

"You're in for a treat, then, because I made you your favourite food for dinner!" gushed the girl, bringing another grin to her captor's porcelain face. He reached out again and pulled the girl back to him in a tight embrace, once again burying his face into her neck.

"Ah, are you okay, Sasuke?" asked [Name] nervously, stiffening at his touch.

"Nothing," he mumbled drunkenly, tightening his grip around the girl. "I'm just excited for your eighteenth birthday."

[Name] let out a sigh of relief, and relaxed into the embrace.

"I'm glad I get to spend it with you, Sasuke."

[Name] hummed an oddly familiar tune as she stood with her back turned to Sasuke, preparing his dinner. The raven, who had until then been peacefully reading the newspaper from this morning, looked up in surprise.

"[Name]... what are you doing?" he asked slowly, lowering the paper to better see his lover. The girl's head perked up and she looked over her shoulder, smiling brightly.

"Oh, this? I don't know, some tune just came to mind and... yeah," she admitted sheepishly, rubbing the back of her neck. Sasuke frowned as she turned away.

"Where did you hear that?" he burst out, slamming the newspaper down and clenching his fists onto the tabletop. [Name] jumped and turned around, alarmed.

"N-Nowhere, Sasuke! It was just in my head, out of the blue!" she exclaimed, all of a sudden flustered. Sasuke frowned, but nodded anyways, prompting the girl to go back to getting his dinner sorted.

"Well... stop thinking about it. It'll go away."

This isn't good, he thought grimly to himself, sinking into his thoughts as [Name] brought his dinner to the table.

She's starting to remember again. I can't have that.
