"Mmm?"

The two lovers were finally reunited after two long, bitter years, and now, their love was stronger than ever.

"Do you ever wonder what would've happened if we had kids?"

The Uzumaki chuckled at [Name]'s query, and wrapped his arms around her waist, pulling her closer to him.

"We would've been the shittiest parents ever. No joke," he laughed, leaning his head on her shoulder.

Finally. After two years of waiting, [Name] was finally back with him. He didn't know if he was being selfish about it or not, but Naruto knew he wouldn't have been able to watch her as she continued on with her life with another man. Silence befell the two yet again, before [Name] piped up again, her voice slightly trembling from the daring question she was about to ask.

"Naruto," she said quietly. "Do you hate Sasuke for... everything he did?"

The Uzumaki let out a long, drawn out sigh as he faced the sky. Sasuke. That name had been dead to him for years, but now, hearing it from [Name]'s lips, he couldn't help but feel remorse and pity for his raven haired friend.

"I think... Sasuke was struggling with his own personal demons," he said softly, tightening his embrace. "I don't know where he is now, but... I've got you. And that's all that really matters."

[Name] sighed, and buried her face into Naruto's chest. 

Whether or not she could forgive Sasuke, only time would tell.

As for now, all that mattered was that she was where she belonged.

And that was the most important thing of all.
