"Where should we go after we graduate, huh, [Name]?" grinned an ever exuberant Naruto as he sat with [Name] in the cafeteria. Graduation day for the seniors was coming up, and their entire year was abuzz with the excitement. What next? Where do we go after high school? Will we be alright?

[Name] sulkily prodded at her spaghetti bolognese with her plastic fork, twirling strands over and over again.

"I don't know... I was thinking I should go and see my mum..." The Uzumaki's grin faltered as he realised why [Name] was so downcast. Of course she was thinking of her family. He placed a hand on her back, grinning.

"She lives in Osaka with your brother, right? We could drive there! You and me, a road trip! How does that sound?"

The thought of being able to spend the summer with Naruto made [Name] brighten up a little, and she smiled up at Naruto.

"What, so I can introduce you?" she joked. The two of them burst into laughter at the thought of Naruto meeting [Name]'s mother and brother, a picture perfect disaster scene.

[Name] [Surname] and Naruto Uzumaki had officially been a couple since the end of their first year of senior high school, making them the longest lasting couple in the school. Nothing, of course, could compare to the relationship Naruto had with his ramen, and the one [Name] had with [your favourite food]. [Ship name/ you and Naruto's name together] were the couple of the year; heck, they'd even gotten the title of "most likely to get married and die together" in their senior yearbook, much to everyone's amusement. Even now, the two were seriously considering a future together, much to the admiration of their peers. Unfortunately, with the amount of love and attention it took to fuel a successful relationship like [Name]'s and Naruto's, obviously some things had to be sacrificed, whether they were aware of it or not.

[Name]'s smile faded as she noticed a gloomy looking dark haired boy being fawned over by multiple fangirls as he entered the cafeteria. His eyes were cold and cruel, matching the way he treated his legions of stalkers, followers, admirers. He shouldered his way through the masses, giving everyone who came into eye contact with him the darkest look he possessed, accompanied by a glint of crimson.

[Name] felt sorry for him; ever since she and Naruto had started dating, both of their friendships with the raven had suffered tremendously. Maybe it was because the three of them were always so close that it was as bad as it was; when two become a couple, what happens to the one that's left out?

In Sasuke's case, you distance yourself. Away from your own friends, and then eventually, the whole world. [Name] couldn't help but feel responsible for the Uchiha's transformation from a sort of approachable person to a complete Elsa who shut herself away from the world.

"Sasuke looks sad..." said [Name] sadly, grimacing as she leaned on her elbow and stared wistfully at the Uchiha. Naruto followed her gaze and frowned sadly at the sight of his once not always angry best friend.

"He actually looks annoyed to me, but sad works too," said Naruto, joining in his girlfriend's pity fest.

"Maybe we should ask him if he wants to eat with us today?" suggested [Name] optimistically. Truth be told, Sasuke hadn't eaten lunch with the duo since first year. Hell, he hadn't talked to them since first year. Naruto shrugged and lay his head down on the table.

"Do what you must."

[Name] smiled at his lack of response before putting her hand in the air.

"Sasuke-!"

"-hey, you little lovebirds, what's up?!"

[Name] frowned as another blond ball of sunshine blocked Sasuke from her view, leaning over the table top and thunking his twin on the head. Naruto groaned and sat up, while [Name] craned her neck to see over Menma, who kept absentmindedly shifting from side to side as if to stop her from looking. [Name] sighed and gave up, then went back to playing with her now cold spaghetti. The Namikaze twin sat across from the two, his body covering the Uchiha from their sight.

"Nothing until you came along," frowned Naruto, sitting up and rubbing the spot where his brother had hit him. Menma laughed and shook his head.

"That's great! Say, what do you two plan on doing after graduating? Going away?" he asked brightly, a little too cheerful for [Name]'s liking. Said girl exchanged looks with her boyfriend, who seemed to shrug "I don't know. We're not related."

"Yes, Menma, and unfortunately, you're not invited," said [Name] dully, staring down at her untouched lunch. The Namikaze fake cried in disappointment.

"Whyyyyy?" he wailed, pouting at his older by two minutes brother. Naruto grinned and scratched the back of his head.

"Well, you know how [Name] and I have always been talking about settling down... she wanted to go see her mum and brother, so then we were like 'hey! Two in one deal!' [Name] can go visit her family, and I can meet her mum, and hopefully, get her approval! So, sorry bro, but this is one thing you can't tag along on."

Menma beamed broadly at his brother and most likely sister in law to be.

"That's great! When do you guys leave?"

"Day after graduation. We're driving to Osaka."

"You two do that!" Menma lowered his voice. "Just... does Sasuke know you're going?"

"Why do you ask?" laughed [Name], imagining the look on Sasuke's face if he ever caught wind of her and Naruto's plans. Menma laughed too, and shook his head.

"Out of curiosity. You know, you guys are 'the trio'... yeah. Anyways, I'll leave you two to it! Later!"

As Menma moved away, [Name]'s gaze slid up, and her eyes locked with the now crimson ones of Sasuke Uchiha. She offered him a gentle smile, as a sign of good will. He merely regarded her with his usual cold look, but now it was about ten times as cold.

Sasuke had heard everything.

And he was going to make them pay.

He was going to make Naruto pay, for stealing [Name] from him.

And most importantly.

He was going to make [Name] pay for not loving him.
