"..."

"[Name]? Are you awake now?"

The girl slowly opened her eyes as she came to her senses with a frown. She woke up to find herself in a completely unfamiliar room, in a completely unfamiliar four poster bed, with a completely unfamiliar man sitting by her side. She sat up, and regretted it as the room began to spin. The dark haired man held out his hands to steady the girl, letting out a small laugh.

"Woah there, soldier!" he chuckled, easing the [Surname] girl back down to rest. She frowned at him, still clutching the front of her head.

"Wha... what?" she said in a daze, her mind blurry. "Where am I?"

"You had a pretty bad fall," said the man softly, his eyes absorbing every inch of her. Her face looked so serene, so angelic- he couldn't take his eyes off of her. The girl noticed this, and raised an eyebrow at him.

"Yes?"

He let out a sigh.

"Do you remember me, [Name]?" he asked, eyes suddenly looking downcast. [Name] frowned.

"Should I...?"

"It's me, Sasuke. Don't you remember me, [Name]? Or did you fall that hard?" joked the Uchiha, holding out a hand and ruffling her hair. [Name]'s eyes widened a bit.

"Really? Um, er..." [Name] felt slightly flustered that she couldn't remember him.

Sasuke smiled lovingly down at [Name], his face nowhere near as wretched as his mind.

It all went so well, so perfectly.

He had planned it right from the start. Who would've known that it would be so easy to get a hold of the Uzumaki's car? He followed them, right out of Konoha. And when they had to get out every now and then to stop for something, he'd take advantage and stealthily make his way to their car, filling it little by little with sprays of sleeping gas. After repeating the procedure about five times, all Sasuke had to do was watch as the Uzumaki fell asleep at the wheel with [Name] by his side. Out of all the places where he could've chosen to fall asleep, he just had to choose the moment they decided to begin driving alongside the sea on a deserted road.

Sasuke was there.

He saw their car as it dropped into the raging water below, and engulfed by the merciless depths.

The only thing he hadn't counted on, however, was either of them surviving.

He was amidst his celebrations when a head popped up, breaking the water's surface.

Instead of doing something, however, the Uchiha waited. He waited for the struggling figure to make it to shore, and he watched.

He watched as [Name] [Surname] desperately tried to revive her boyfriend in vain.

He watched as [Name] [Surname] cried, holding her lover's body to her chest.

He watched as [Name] [Surname] gave up.

He watched as [Name] [Surname] suffered, with a small smirk adorning his lips.

"[Name] [Surname]..." he could recall saying as he watched on from the comfort of his car. "Mine now. All mine."

He wanted to start from scratch with her, to replace all the years she'd spent with Naruto instead of him.

And to do that, he somehow had to reverse time, which was sadly one of the only things out of his control.

"Your name is [Name] [Surname], and I'm Sasuke Uchiha. You might not remember it, but we're, you know, together. You're sixteen, and we live together. You left high school because it just didn't agree with you. And very recently, you got into an incident, which has obviously resulted in your... amnesia, in a sense. I hope you don't mind my saying, [Name], but the reason you got into that situation was because you left this house. Please, don't do that again."

All [Name] could do was nod.

After all, she had nothing else to believe, did she?
