"Have a good day at work, Sasuke."

"I will. I love you, [Name]."

"I love you too."

After a lengthy and passionate kiss, [Name] bid her long time lover farewell as they parted ways in the foyer of their lavish home. Giving [Name] a smile small and wave over his shoulder as he opened the door, Sasuke walked out and shut the door behind him, leaving the girl to stand and stare at the empty space he had just vacated.

Her false smile instantly transformed into a frown, and the girl spun around, striding over to the staircase on the right.

Past the left staircase was the area entirely dedicated to [Name], with four out of seven of the rooms in her wing; being one of the living rooms, two of the bathrooms, and the kitchen plus dining room, which were all spread out over three different levels. This was the only area [Name] was allowed in. For the year and eleven months she had resided in this grand mansion, the right wing of it was but a mystery to her. The only reason she had never bothered exploring past the staircase on the right was the fact that Sasuke had explicitly instructed her not to go there. So, go there she didn't.

But today was different.

Today, [Name] had questions she wanted answers to. She knew she wouldn't get these answers from anywhere she normally operated in, so she had no choice but to breach Sasuke's strict guidelines and let her curiosity get the better of her.

Standing at the foot of the right staircase, [Name] felt puny in comparison to the narrow, winding flight of steps rising into the unknown area of her home. She frowned at this thought. She'd lived in this place for how long? Nearly two years, and yet half of it was totally alien and unfamiliar to her?

That was definitely off. Something was definitely wrong.

Taking a deep breath, [Name] hurried her way up the staircase, looking around for fear of being caught, even though she knew that there wasn't a single soul around to witness her heinous act of rebellion. What to expect at the top? No idea.

"It's the exact same as the other side!" she exclaimed, slightly annoyed that there was nothing odd or weird about the first landing. Using her half of the mansion as a guide of where the bedrooms lay on the topmost floor, [Name] hurried up two more flights of stairs until she got there. To say the hallway leading to the rooms was the same as the one leading to her own would've been an understatement. In fact, it was a complete mirror image of the hallway she walked through on a daily basis, which gave her slight chills up the spine.

"Right," whispered [Name] to herself as she skimmed her way across the floor to the doorway right at the end of the hallway. Sasuke's room.

Praying she wouldn't regret it later, she took a deep breath and pushed the door back.

Silently, it swung open for her, revealing yet another stretch to walk before getting to his actual room. Now at the edge of the entrance, [Name] teetered, now violently torn between rushing in and running out. Straightening herself out, she boldly took a step forward, quietly shutting the door behind her. Making it past that stretch of unnecessary carpet made it impossible for [Name] to deduce what she would find on the other side; however, she wasn't disappointed.

Letting out what seemed to be a cross between a gasp and a mini scream, [Name] clasped a hand over her mouth. Sasuke's room was the same size as an apartment. Everything was neat and ordered, from his bed at the back of the room to the miniature living room set up in the centre.

Well, nearly everything.

Beside his bed, was a desk.

A desk, cluttered with papers and pens and magazine cuttings.

On the wall behind it, photos.

All of them had [Name] in it, either by herself or with others she didn't recognise at all.

[Name] moved closer, squinting at the photos. In one of them, she stood with a grey haired man wearing a surgical mask and a blond haired boy who'd had his face violently carved out of the photo. [Name] gasped and pointed at the photo, recognising him as the boy from her dream.

Too shocked to even say anything else, [Name]'s gaze dropped down to the desktop before her, and her eyes nearly popped out of her head. There were even more photos of her, but with all extra people's faces carved out with a knife or some sort. The writing on the loose papers were barely discernible; the only thing [Name] could make out on all of them was a single word: mine.

[Name] slowly backed away from the desk, too aghast to say anything else. Swiftly, she turned on her heel and sprinted away as fast as she could, her cowardice getting the better of her.

It's okay, I can always come back tomorrow when I'm less creeped out!! she screamed internally to herself as she rushed back to her room to bury herself under her covers and hide from the rest of the world.

Absolutely nothing made sense to her anymore.

First, she dreamt of a blond she'd never met before, and then found a photo of him in Sasuke's room.

Second, that photo of him had his face scratched out, which made [Name] wonder as to why.

Third, Sasuke's entire wall seemed to be dedicated to [Name].

Okay, so maybe they were together, but going that far seemed a little bit over the top, didn't it?

Just thinking about it made [Name] shiver, and it wasn't until she'd made it to her room and locked the door behind her that she relaxed, leaping back into bed and drawing the covers over her head, as her mind pounded with thoughts and questions.
