Chapter 3~ i like him.

Joes POV
Dianne left for tour 3 days ago and I'm missing her like mad but this does mean I get to spend some quality time with Emliy just the two of us. We have grown so close she does seem like a proper daughter to me and I love it, she means so much to me.
We are currently sat watching Disney movies in the living room, she is cuddled up to me, it's so cute. We have a proper father daughter relationship. But I have noticed whenever seem to leave her at all she gets quite worried and doesn't like it. It got to the end of the movie,I pulled her closer it me and she rested her head on my chest, I couldn't be happier if I tried. I also love calling sweet names like 'angel' or 'my girl' just like she's 6 years old but she loves it, I can say I don't ever think I have ever seen a person this happy before.
I then got a phone call so I got up off the couch and walked into my room to answer it, turns out it was my manager telling me I had to go to a meeting tonight with Caspar to talk about our management company and how it's going. I instantly knew I wouldn't be able to take Emily with me. What was I going to do? She hated being without me, I left before to film a video with Jack and Conor and she said she would be fine in the house by herself but when I came back she had been crying. She hugged me and told me that she thought I had left her for good which I would never.
I told my manager that I would meet him at the meeting since I had to drop Emily off somewhere and he seemed ok with that.
As I got of the call I remembered that Oli had told me that he was having James for the weekend so I decided to text him to see if Emily could stay round there for the night since I wouldn't he back till about 12.

Joe and Oli's Texts

Joe~Hey man, you know you said you were looking after James for the weekend?

Oli White🙃~Yes?

Joe~Well I have a bit of a dilemma

Oli White🙃~What's up?

Joe~Well my manager just reminded me that I have a meeting tonight with Caspar about our management tonight and I won't get back till late I have no one to look after Emily and since you have James, they got on so well when they met so I was wondering could you have her?🙂

Oli White🙃~Of course I will! It will be nice for James to have someone his own age to hang out with when he is at my flat.

Joe~ Thankyou'

Oli White🙃~What time were you thinking of dropping her off?

Joe~ in about an hour, is that ok with you?

Oli White🙃~Sounds perfect

Joes POV
I walked back into the living room and sat down on the sofa.
"How do you feel about staying at Oli's house tonight? James is there too so you will have someone to hang out with that is your own age" I asked her.
"I wouldn't mind, me and James get on quite well" she said.
"I know you do I saw you when you first met him" I said laughing.
"Shut up!" She said laughing.
"Do you think you will be ok because I don't want the same thing to happen as it did last time I left you" I said.
"I will be ok,James is there and we get on really well, last time I just got upset Because I thought you had left me for good" she's said.
"Of course not" I told her.
"Joe can I ask you something?" She said.
"Of course" I said.
"I mean I get if you say no but can I call you dad?" She asked.
"Of course angel" i replied.
"Ok dad" she said.

1 hour later

Emily's POV
We were on our way driving to Oli's, listening to Conor's songs all the way. When we got to Oli's we got out of the car and walked up to his apartment and Joe knocked on the door. Evie opened it and told us to come in. When I first met Evie I knew I loved her, she was so lovely and so nice to me. As soon as I walked in I saw James sat on the sofa with Oli. Oli then got up to go speak to Joe so I went and sat by James.
"Hey, you alright?" He asked me.
"Yeah I'm good what about you?" I said.
"I'm good, we were thinking of having a movie night tonight , just us 4, how does that sound?" He asked.
"Sounds great" I replied.
James knew all all about my panic attacks and anxiety, I told him when we first met, there was just something I trusted about him straight away. No one knew about my panic attacks and anxiety apart from Jake who I told everything to, I have been missing Jake, I have FaceTimed him everyday though.
Joe then called me over to him and told me that he had to go, I gave him the tightest hug and refused to let go.
"Come on I have to go now darling" joe told me.
"But I don't want you to go" I said as I held him tighter.
"I will be back before you know it" he said.
"Promise" I questioned.
"Promise"
Over the past few days me and joe have grown very close and I do see him as a dad to me now so I don't want to say goodbye.
As he was saying goodbye to everyone else James put his hand on my shoulder and whispered in my ear "he will be back soon I promise"
I looked up at him and he smiled at me. I swear I sensed a bit of connection between us.
Joe finally left and we all sat down on the sofa and Oli ordered a pizza. As we waited for it to come we played a few board games and James beat me twice and started rubbing it in my face so I punched him lightly on the arm so he stopped. The pizza finally cam and we all started eating as Oli put on the Titanic, I loved this film. We sat watching the Titanic as we ate. Once we finished eating we all got comfortable on the sofa and James wrapped his arm round me,I looked up at him and smiled then rested my head on his shoulder. By the end of the movie Evie and I were both crying our eyes out. James noticed I was crying and pulled me closer to him. I snuggled into him and he let me.
I think I like him, I really do. I mean I've watched him for years on YouTube but I never thought I would be sat cuddled up to him watching the titanic on the sofa in Oli whites apartment.
