James POV
I was gonna do it, I was gonna ask Emily out, but I needed it to perfect. First I'm gonna speak to Joe about it, just to check he really is ok with it. I knew that Emily was on a day out with Dianne and Chloe so I decided to go over to their flat, so I'm currently sat on the sofa in Joes flat.

"So what did you want to talk about then ?" Joe asked me.

"Well I've been thinking, and I really wanna ask Emily out but I just wanted to check it was ok with you" I told him.

"Aww that's really sweet, of course it's okay with me James, I know you will treat her right" he said.

"Thankyou Joe it means a lot that you are okay with it" I said.

"So how are you gonna do it?" He questioned.

"Well Jake has been telling me that they share this place in the woods and it's really special to her so I was think with a bit of help from Jake I could do it there" I said.

"That's so romantic, you can tell how much this means to you" he said.

James POV
Now it was time to set it up. We were currently in the woods and Jake was helping me make it as perfect as possible. We had scattered rose petals leading up towards the place where her and Jake had shared so many memories, all that was left now is for it actually take place. I got Jake to text Emily and tell her to meet him there as he had to talk to her about something and she was on her way.

"You nervous?" Jake questioned as he was stood in the corner.

"Kinda I guess, I just really hope she says yes" I replied turning round to look at him.

Then out of the corner of my eye I saw Emily walking up to me.

"James?" She questioned "what's this about?" She asked.

I took her hands in mine.

"Emily , from the moment I met you I knew I liked you, so will you be my girlfriend?" I asked.

"Of course i will" she said smiling at me.
