James POV
I woke up to the feel of a weight on my shoulder I looked down to see Emily still fast asleep with her head rested in my shoulder. She was so cute.... wait what? I couldn't be falling for her could I? I thought we were just friends.
She woke up, looked up at me and smiled.
"Where's Joe?" She asked me.
"In his room probably" I told him.
"I'm gonna go see him is that ok with you?" She asked me.
"Of course it Is" I replied.
She got up off the sofa.

Emily's POV
I walked to Joes room and knocked on the door. He told me to come in. I walked in and sat down on the bed.
"Are you okay?" He asked me.
"I'm ok I guess" I said sadly.
"What's up angel?" He questioned he knew when there was something wrong.
"It's just I miss mum" I told him.
"I know but it's been years just remember she probably looks down on you everyday in heaven" he said.
"No not my birth mum...... Dianne, I miss Dianne" I said moving closer to him.
"Awww Emily" he said.
"It is ok if I call her mum isn't it? I've not done anything wrong have i ?" I questioned.
"Of course it's ok!! Don't be silly! It will make her year hearing you call her mum"
"Thankyou dad" I said.

Joes POV
"Thankyou dad"
That made me tear up a bit.
"Don't cry!" She said.
"You don't know happy that makes me" I said.
"I love you dad"
"I love you sweetie"
I pulled her closer and wrapped my arms round her. She snuggled into my chest rested her head on me.
I loved this father daughter relationship❤️
