Emily's POV
I got up and started to walk towards the door but James grabbed hold of me and pulled me back , "no I will go" he said as he got up.
He answered the door and I saw a figure of a man stood in the door frame.
James instantly slammed the door and locked it , he looked over at me... he looked terrified....
"Who is it?" I asked tears streaming down my face as the man behind the door continued to shout.
"The man in the forest" he repeated over and over
"What man?"
"Well earlier in the day yesterday I was down in the forest with my friends we saw the man, he started to chase us... then as we walking home last night I saw him again"
"Is that why you tightened your grip on my hand?" I questioned
"Yeah" he responded.
The man carried on shouting and banging on the door, I hated it.... I never did well with loud situations
"James I don't like it!!" I screamed with tears running down my face.
he told me that it was ok and that the man would get bored and leave soon, he then wrapped a blanket round me and put his hands over my ears so it wouldn't be as loud,
"Call Joe" I said looking up at him.
James POV
"Joe help!!" I shouted down the phone.
"What's going on?" He replied quickly.
"Just please come home" I cried.
"I'll be 5 minutes"
The call ended
5 minutes well by....Emily and I heard joe shouting at the man outside then we heard one final scream before everything became silent.......
