Chapter 7 ~ princess

Carrying on from last chapter

Joes POV
James has just left. Emily is just sat on the sofa looking upset almost
"Aww missing James already are you" I joked as I sat down next to her.
There was a long silent pause.
"Yeah" She said as a tear dripped from her face.
"Awww Em it's ok you will see him soon" I told her.
"No it's not just the fact that I miss him" She said.
"Huh?" I questioned.
"It's just whenever he's around, I feel... safe almost... it's like his presence makes me feel different. Like no one else is in the room, like all my problems are just gone" she said as more tears dripped down her face.
"I think someone's got a crush" I said wiping away her tears.
"So What if I do, nothing will ever happen between us" she said.
"You don't know that" I told her.
"He probably just feels bad for me like most people" she said but before I had a chance to say anything in response the door unlocked and Dianne walked in. Emily ran straight over to her. She has definitely missed her 'mum' whilst she has been away.

Emily's POV
I ran over to her and straight into her arms letting my sobs run free.
"I've missed you" I managed to say between sobs.
"I missed you too" she said hugging me tight.
"So how have you and Joe been getting on?" She asked us.
"Perfect actually we have a proper father daughter relationship" Joe told her as he kissed and hugged her as he missed her too.
"Well I'm very glad to hear that" she said.
"She even called me dad earlier" joe said quite proudly.
"Aww that's so sweet" she said.
"She also called you mum when we were talking" joe told her.
Now she was the one crying.

1 hour later

Diannes POV
Me and Emily were sat cuddled up on the sofa watching Cinderella, holding eachother tight. Joe had left to film a video with Anna and Jack.
I really had missed Emily when I was away. She's my little princess and that will never change.

Such a small chapter.
