Chapter 9~James x

(In this story Emily has taken Joes surname)
Emily's POV
I heard my alarm go off so I instantly woke up remembering Di was coming home for a bit again today. I jumped out of bed and ran into Joes room, he was still in bed. So I decided to wake him up sugg style.
I grabbed a cup of water from the kitchen and threw it on him he woke up with a fright seeing me.
"Right that's it" he shouted as he jumped out of bed chasing me round and round the kitchen till eventually catching me, picking me up and spinning me round and round in circles. I loved timed like this with Joe. I held on so tight so he didn't drop me. He carried on spinning me round and round until we both got dizzy and he fell on the sofa still holding onto me and burst out laughing.
"Right we need to get ready for when Dianne gets home" he said.
I went back into my room and got into a black crop top with no arms on it,black ripped jeans and my blue high top vans. I walked back into the kitchen to see Joe stood there we both sat down at the kitchen countertop and had a bowl of cereal each.
Right when we were finishing we heard someone come through the door. It was Dianne. Joe ran straight up to her and gave her a massive hug. Then she came up to me and gave me a massive hug.
"Hiya sweetie, how has your week been with dad?" She asked.
"Good, Well we have had our ups and downs" I said smirking at Joe.
"We don't talk about that" joe said chuckling to himself.
"Right ok then..." Di said.

1 hour later
We were now all sat on the sofa talking about how Diannes tour was going whilst she had her arms wrapped round me. I really had found the perfect family.
"I feel like I'm kinda third wheeling here" joe said putting on a grumpy face whilst looking at me and Dianne.
"Have her" I said un tangling myself from Diannes arms and standing up.
"I was only joking Em" Joe said.
"I know , I'm gonna go to my room and text James I haven't seen him in ages" I said as I walked off to my room and texted James.
