Hope's Best friend

After class I look outside to see Haley's car is here. I walk outside. She sees me and walks over to me.

"Lilly how are you?" She asks.

"I'm great." I answer.

"I'm so happy you and Hope are friends. But I'm sad to hear you won't be spending the summer with us. But you girls shouldn't be sneaking out all the time." She frowns at me.

"I know. But I promise it was for a good reason this time." I say.

"So Caroline tells me. But she says you can't tell us what you two were doing." She has her arms over her chest.

I look down at the ground not answering her.

Hope comes outside and throws her bag in the car. Haley looks at us and walks over to talk to professor Saltzman.

Hope walks up to me and wraps her arms around me.

"How long are you suspended for?" I ask.

"Two weeks." She says.

"Okay that's not that long." I say.

"Yea but I'm getting my phone taken so we can't talk this whole time." She rolls her eyes.

"That's why we are witches." I wink at her.

She laughs.

"Hope it's time to go." Haley says.

Hope turns back to me. "See you in two weeks. Always and forever."

"See you in two weeks. Always and forever."  I repeat. With that she walks to the car and gets in. I watch as they drive away. Two weeks without my best friend will be hard.  As I've said before we are always together. Even when we are, we aren't.

"What happened?" A voice behind me asks.

I turn around to see Roman. Cute blonde vampire, a total ass. And obsessed with Hope.

"That is none of your business." I cross my arms.

"When will she back?" He continues.

"That again is none of your business." I start to walk away. He follows me.

"Come on Lilly give me something." He begs. I ignore him and keep walking. "At least tell me if she's single. Doesn't have some boyfriend in New Orleans does she?"

I finally stop. He stands in front of me.

"Look I don't know why you're obsessed with Hope, but she is not interested. So just stop!" I yell at him. I'm lying she is totally into him, but she doesn't know what a creep he is.

"Whatever." He rolls his eyes. "You know you can't keep her to yourself forever. She's gonna wanna get rid of the trash eventually." He starts to walk away.

"Phasmatos Morsinus Pyrox Allum." I say. Roman starts to groan in pain.

Someone comes up behind me and grabs my arms."Okay okay stop." It's Alec.

I stop the spell. Roman gets in my face. "You'll get what's coming to you. One day." He smiles evilly than vamp runs away.

I pull Alec off me.  "Okay What was that?" He asks.

"Just Roman being a douche as always." I groan.

"You total when off on him." He says concerned.

"What do you expect. We are evil creatures. And me, I'm extra evil."  I sigh.

He puts his hands on my face gently. "That just means you have to work extra hard to be good. And you know not kill someone." He shrugs.

"Whatever. I have to get to class." I walk away from him.

"Still in for after diner?" He calls.

I turn around to face him still walking. "Haven't decided yet." I call back. I turn around smirking.
