Hope and I hug for what seems like an eternity, until I come to the realization what just happened.

"Oh my god." I say. I pull myself over so my feet hang off the bed. "Oh my god!" I scream. I look around to see Alec on the ground. I get off the bed and run over to him. "No, no, no!" I pull him into me. Tears start to stream off my face.

"Is he?" I ask looking up at Freya.

"Not yet. But soon." She says to me.

"Help me get him in the bed." I say trying to pick him up.

Elijah walks into the room. "Here let me." He says as he gracefully grabs Alec and sets him on the bed I was in.

"Thank you." I say. I pull a chair up to the bed. I grab his hand. I sniffle and take a deep breathe. "Does he have any family?" I ask.

"No his parents died in an accident when he was 10. That's how he ended up at the school." Caroline says.

"Their has to be another way." I say. I look up. "Lizzie and Josie, they can siphon the magic out of him."

Freya shakes her head. "We tried that with you, it didn't work."

"No, no." I say. "Please their has to be something." I squeeze his hand and lay my head on his chest.

"Can we try Josie and Lizzie again? It might work now. Theirs always a loophole." Hope says.

"Theres nothing to be done." Freya says again. "We'll leave you to say goodbye." Caroline, Freya and Elijah walk out of the room.

Hope comes next to me. I sit up and wipe my eyes. "I'm sorry for putting you through this. You don't need anything else to deal with." I say.

Hope grabs my hand. "It's okay we'll deal with my mess tomorrow, today is about you."

I giggle a little. "Can I try again just one more time?" I ask her.

"It can't hurt Lilly." She smiles at me.

I put my hands above Alec's chest. I start to chant, réveiller ressusciter' over and over again. Hope soon joins me. Alec doesn't move. I take a deep breathe and continue to chant.

Alec opens his eyes and inhales deeply. He sits up fast. Hope and I move our hands away fast.

"Alec?"I ask.

Before I can get an answer my eyes fly open and I sit up in bed. I feel a cold sweat on my face.

A dream? It was just a dream.

I take a deep breath and head over to the window, I draw the curtains and the sun shines through. It's a beautiful day out. But it's not a happy one.  Today is the day of my first love's funeral.

I've been staying with Hope and her family in New Orleans. I go over to the small suitcase i have and go to try and find clothes. Nothing looks right. I run out of the room in my bare feet and clumsy me, I fall down the multiple concrete stairs. I scream in pain as my elbow takes most of the fall. I hear a loud crash as a flower pot falls to the ground.

I hear footsteps and then a small gasp. I look up to see Hope at the top of the stairs. She runs down to me.

"Lilly are you okay?" She asks helping me up.

I groan as I stand up. My arm hurts extremely and I can see it swelling up. "I think it's broken." I say.

Hope grabs a piece of glass off the floor from the broken flower pot and slashes her hand. "Drink this." She says as she puts her hand to my mouth. I keep my mouth closed. "Hope take it before it heals." I take a deep breath as I grab her hand and place my lips on it. I gag a little as I taste the metallic taste of blood.

I let go as her hand heals. I move my arm as it begins to heal. "That is the last time I am doing that." I tell her. "I am not going to keep drinking that disgusting stuff."

"You get used to it darling." Rebekah says as she walks down the stairs. She grabs my arm and moves it around. "Looks fixed to me."

"Yea now I just need to get dressed." I say Taking a deep breath to keep the tears in.

"Oh right Alec's funeral is today." Hope says with sympathy in her voice. "Do you want me to come?"

"No," I let out a long sigh. "This is something I have to do by myself."

Hope grabs my hand and squeezes my hand. I look at her and give her a small smile.

I take a deep breath and head back to my room to find something that will work. To my surprise I find a large gift box on my bed. I open the box and inside is a beautiful black dress, a plaid coat, and black heels. I pull my hair half up and put a small black bow in it. I put black stud earrings in and grab a black purse . At the bottom of the Box is a small note. Written on it is...
