"Mom?" I ask as I see the woman who gave birth to me. The woman who also abandoned me. With her is the young boy. His hair is the same color as mine but his eyes are brown.

"Hello Lillian." She says calmly. Her hand is on the boy's shoulders.

"What are you doing here?" I ask. I feel my heart start to race and my breathing gets heavy.

"This is Jason, your um..." she looks down at the boy.

"Brother." I finish.

"He triggered his curse and will be joining us here." Mrs. Salvatore explains.

"No!" I scream.

"Lillian calm down." Jennifer trying to come closer to me but I move back.

I look at the head mistress. "This is my school." I turn to the boy and my mother. "And these people are not allowed here."

"Lilly please. You know we except everyone who needs our help." Mrs. Salvatore says.

"No. Just no." I open the door and slam it behind me. I start to walk down the hall. I hear someone saying my name behind me. It's my mother's voice.

"Lillian please." She says. I finally stop. I turn around to look at her. I wipe the tears off my face.  "Let me explain."

"No!" I yell. "You, do not get to talk." I take a deep breathe and look at her with a angry face. "You know we had a funeral for you."

"I'm sorry?" She asks.

"Yea. We got dressed up in black. And bought a casket. We buried the empty casket. People brought us food for months. My father drank himself dead. Literally dead. He died because you left." I take a deep breathe.

"If you would let me explain." She says. I cross my arms and just look at her to continue. "You were to powerful for me."

"How? I was a baby. Now maybe yes. But I can control it now."

She walks over to a bench in the hall and sits. I stay standing. "A little after your second birthday, your powers became stronger. Now I was used to your strength and you being fast. And boy were you fast. I  had helped my pack take care of the little ones. But when you started to break things or swing them across the room when you were angry, that just became a lot. One time you even threw your babysitter down the stairs. She survived luckily."

"Why didn't you look into things to help me? Dad could have found a spell or something to help control my powers."

"We tried. We really did. But you were. Are. Very powerful. Something's worked for a few months. Than they would where off and we were on the hunt again. And back than it was hard to find someone who would except a child that was half witch half wolf. Some were fascinated by you, others terrified. When the fascinated ones stopped coming around to help, we kind of gave up. And around your third birthday I decided I couldn't deal with it. I was weak." She has tears in her eyes now.

"So you made a new  family. Normal kids. But now Jason has triggered his curse so you're leaving him to." I conclude.

"No. That's not what's happening." She tries to start again.

I walk off and go back to the headmistress' office where my brother still is. I walk in to see he has sat down in a chair. I can't take this out on him. It's not his fault. If anything I need to help him through this. The full moon is only a week away.

"I'm Lilly. Your tour guide  I'll show you around." I say. "Follow me."

"Are you sure?" Mrs. Salvatore asks. I nod my head. She turns back to the boy.  "Lillian will show you around Jason. Than take you to meet your new roommate." She smiles.

The young boy slouches out of his seat and stands up. He grabs his blue duffel bag and stands next to me.

I turn around and open the door to expose the hallway. I begin walking and hear his footsteps soon follow behind.

"How did you trigger the curse?" I ask.

"What?" He asks confused.

I turn to face him. I stop our walk. "Did Jennifer explain all this to you?"

He shakes his head. "No."

"Follow me I need something to drink." I start walking again.

We get to the kitchen. I grab a hit chocolate mix and some milk. I make the mixture and put the cup in the microwave. "Do you want anything?" I ask Jason.

"I'll take a hot chocolate too." He says. He sits at our dining table.  "With extra whipped cream and brown sugar on top." He smiles.

I gasp at his request. I drop the cup in my hand and it breaks everywhere.  He runs over and tries to help me pick it up. "It's okay." I assure him. "legibus fractum." I chant. The cup fixes itself. I look up at the boy. He's in awe. I laugh.

"How did you do that?" He asks.

I stand up and begin the mixture for hot chocolate again. "I'm a witch." I admit. I put whipped cream and brown sugar in both hot chocolates. I take the cups and bring them over to the table. Jason joins me. He takes the seat across from mine.  I slide him the warm drink and he takes sip.

"You like whipped cream and brown sugar on your hot cocoa too?" He observes.

"Um yea. My mo... I mean our mom used to make it for me when I was little." I admit.

"Me too. I love it. But my sister jasmine hates it.She says it's to sweet for her." He laughs. He looks up at me. "I guess she's your sister too."

"Yea I guess." I shrug.

"So how are you a witch? Mom said something about werewolves but nothing about witches." He looks freaked.

"This is a school for the three kinds of supernatural creatures. Vampires, witches, and of course wolves." I explain. I am two of those. We call it a hybrid. But normal hybrids are half wolf, half vampire. I on the other hand am half wolf and half witch. My dad was a witch."

"Was?"

I look down. "He passed away when I was seven."

"I'm sorry." He tries to sympathize. "So I'm a werewolf? How?"

"Did Jeniffer leave or disappear once a month?" I ask. He nods. "Did it always happen to be on a full moon?" He shrugs. Man I really wish she would of explained this to him. "Well She is a wolf. When she left, she was probably going somewhere to do what we call turning. This means you become an actual wolf. Unfortunately it's very painful." I explain.

"So I have to turn on the next full moon?" He asks obviously scared. His eyes are now wide.

"Yes." I conclude. "But I promise it will be okay. You will be strong. It's actually an amazing feeling, besides the pain."  I admit. "How did you trigger the curse?" I ask again.

"My twelfth birthday was last week. For as long as I can remember I've wanted a shot gun. Mom always said no. Said I'd hurt myself or someone. But this year my dad got me one. My mom was so upset.... But she let me do target practice in the back yard. Than I had to put it up until I was older. So I went outside. I shot the gun." He takes a deep breathe. "Our neighbor, mr.Sloan must have heard it and when out side. I shot it through the fence. I heard a scream. My dad jumped over the fence. By the time I called an ambulance and they got to the house, it was to late. He was already gone." He stands up from the seat. "I'm sorry I have to go." With that he runs off.

"Jason!" I call. But he's already out of sight. Great.
