Hesitate

Chapter 29

Killian POV-

"Thank you for your time. I will be meeting you two next week." I said as I saw both of the doctors making their way towards the door.

It's been two since I talked with Zero about our baby. My father and me were able to contact doctors who were capable to understand a little about Zero's condition. We were told that Zero wasn't the first male who was able to give birth, there were about 50 more cases. Unfortunately 25% of those cases weren't successful, which make me worry but at the same time it give me hope. Another thing that we discovered was the fact that male pregnancy is only 6 months, 3 months less than female pregnancy. So according to the doctors Zero is in his third month, half of the cycle.

I'm excited but at the same time terrified. I don't want to lose my family.

Zero has been pretty relaxed about the deal. He do have mood swings, which I find it adorable, well unless for the time that he made me sleep on the couch.

Speaking of devil.

Zero came to my office with a big smile on his face as his hands rested in his little bump. I smile at the sight as I stood up.

"Killian!!!" Zero yelled excitedly.

"Yes, love?" I replied as Zero hugged me.

"The baby!! They are moving " Zero said as he took my hand and place it on his bump. My eyes widen and I had to fight my tears back.

I began to kiss his stomach as I felt our baby moving.

"Hello there! Don't hurt your mommy too bad okay? We are waiting for you to be with us soon" I said in between my kisses.

I looked up to find Zero crying as he watched us.

"Shh don't cry " I pecked his lips.

"I'm so happy !" Zero said, rubbing his bump.

"Where is Mark?" I asked him sitting down on my chair again.

"He went with Evan and Lucas to the park. He was insisting to go with them since Evan and Lucas were planning to go." Zero replied as he sat on my lap.

"What did the doctors tell you?" Zero asked worried.

"Nothing bad. They only told me to make sure you rest and eat well. The baby is doing great. Also they told me that next week we will be able to see our baby! " I told him as I kissed his forehead.

"Really !?" Zero asked. I nodded and watched him jump excitedly.

"Zero, so I have been thinking and I realized that we haven't been on a date in a while. How about if we go tonight?" I asked him, hoping that he would agree. He barely wants to leave Mark by himself, unless Evan or Lucas are with him.

"Mmm... do you think the guys would want to take care of him tonight?" He asked.

"Of course they would." I respond.

"Then I will go and start preparing myself!" He said as he kissed my cheek and went to our room.

"Okay baby. We will be leaving at 7." I yelled at him. It was only 4 PM but knowing Zero, he will be taking his time.

Today if the day... I just hope everything goes as I planned.

With everything that has been happening the last months, I was thinking to do it next year but I want Zero to stay by my side... forever. And I hope he wants the same.

I know is short but next chapter is going to be longer than this one!!

I'm planning to update tomorrow or Wednesday, depending on when the chapter is finished.
