I took a deep breath and waited at the beach. It was getting to be spring, but still cold.I was wearing a red scarf, a black sweater, blue jeans and running shoes along with a matching red purse. Why he wanted to meet here I had no idea, but like an idiot I decided to wait for the Friday date anyway. I looked at my cellphone and started getting nervous. Was he really going to show? "Rei" said a voice, as I jumped and turned my head. I couldn't help but blush seeing the famous Itachi Uchiha smiling at me.

"You look cute" he said, as I blushed and avoided eye contact. "I look cold, why did you want to meet here anyway?" I asked, as he walked up to me and I blushed more when he held my hand. "So I could do this" he whispered, as I lowered my mouth in my scarf hiding the small smile spreading across my face. "Come on" he said, as we started walking along the beach and then I paused seeing a small ramen shop just across the street from the beach. Then I noticed we started walking towards it. "Hope your hungry" he said, as I nodded my head and we walked across the street and into the ramen shop. "Welcome" said a woman smiling. "Hey Ayame" said Itachi, as I looked back and forth. She blushed and smiled. "Itachi, it's been awhile. Izumi always mentions you" she said, as I looked back and forth seeing Itachi smiling nervously. "Uh, for two please Ayame" he said, as Ayame blinked a couple times and then looked at me. "Oh right, sorry" she said, as she showed us to a booth. We sat down and Ayame placed menus in front of us. "Izumi?" I questioned, as Itachi sighed and closed his eyes. "I was going to tell you about her... eventually, she's my ex-girlfriend" said Itachi, as I paused and looked at him. "Ex?" I asked, as he sighed and closed his eyes. "It was fine at first, but then I realized after some time it was a competition and eventually her goal for helping others changed her view and decided to go into the police force that our family runs" said Itachi, as I looked at him shocked. "Your family runs the police?" I asked, as he sighed again. "Well... It's a family tradition ever since Madara Uchiha the first came into power of the Uchiha clan. It has been a big thing for Uchihas' to be police officers, detectives, or anything along the branch of it" said Itachi, as I smiled. He looked at me shocked and then avoided eye contact. "W-What?" he asked, as I smiled more. "Nothing, it's different. I like the idea of you doing your own thing" I said, as he smiled and then we paused when Ayame walked up to our booth. "Sorry to interrupt, but have you decided what you want to eat?" she asked, as I paused and looked at the menu. I totally forgot. "Want me to order?" asked Itachi, as I looked up from the menu to look at him smiling at me. "Uh, sure" I said, as he turned to Ayame. "Two ramen specials, and give my best to your father: Teuchi, back there" he said, as Ayame nodded. Soon the ramen was placed in front of us and we both started eating. I then paused when Itachi kept smiling at me. "W-what?" I asked, as he leaned a little closer. "What about you?" he asked, as I paused. "M-Me?" I asked, as he chuckled. "Ex-boyfriends?" he asked, as I paused and lowered my head while poking at my ramen with my chopsticks. "Kind of, I have dated. However, nothing serious. Not relationship wise anyway and even when I try, it doesn't seem to go my way" I said, as I glanced up seeing Itachi standing up and then he sat beside me. I blushed when he tipped my chin towards him. "Then let me try, and you tell me what you like and don't like" he whispered, as I blushed more and slowly nodded my head. He chuckled and I closed my eyes when he kissed the tip of my right ear again. Then it hit me... do I tell him about Kakashi? "I-Itachi" I wheezed, as he smiled placing some of my hair behind my right ear. "I have to be honest" I said, as he blinked a few times. "Oh?" he asked, as I looked at him in the eyes not backing down. "Y-your not the only person I'm dating" I managed to say while closing my left eye and waited for his reaction. Itachi smiled and placed his right hand and flicked my forehead. I looked at him shocked and then watched as he kissed my right hand. "Then I guess I will have to try and win your heart" he said, as I blushed again and smiled a bit. Something told me this was going to be a lot harder than I thought. Soon we were walking back on the beach and we stopped when Itachi's cellphone rang. He sighed when hearing the ringtone and then looked serious when looking at the caller I.D. "Sorry Rei, I have to get going" he said, as I smiled and nodded. "Of course" I said, as I blushed bright red when he kissed my lips. It didn't last long but sure enough he did kiss my lips. "I will text you" said Itachi, as I smiled and nodded my head. I then made my way home.
The next day, I gulped and waited at the bus stop. I had my scarf on again, but this time wearing a blue sweater and black jeans with the same running shoes. I then paused and saw Kakashi walking towards me. "Morning" I said, as I paused and noticed him acting a little differently. "Morning" he said, as I looked at him. It was quiet, but not like before. Something was definitely wrong. The bus finally showed up and we sat next together. I couldn't help but keep glancing at him. Maybe... he knew. Was he angry at me? "Kakashi" I said, as he glanced at me from looking out the window. "I'm sorry" I said, as he looked at me shocked. "Sorry? For what?" he asked "I should have told you. I should have been more honest and told you that I was also dating someone else besides you" I said lowering my head. I then stopped and heard chuckling. I then looked at Kakashi and my eyes widened in shock seeing him blushing while laughing?

"You really are adorable" he said, as I blushed this time. I then jumped a bit when he wrapped his arm around my waist. "I'm not angry. Your a young woman, of course your going to be dating" he said, as I smiled and leaned my head against his chest. "So why are you angry?" I asked, as he paused and then smiled. "I'm not. I was concentrating on the places to take you" he whispered, as I looked up at him. "Be honest" I whispered, as he stopped and looked down at me into my eyes. "I just needed to get away from work" he said, as I nodded and rested my head on his chest again. "Yeah, I get that" I said, as he smiled down at me. Kakashi and I then got off the bus and my eyes widened seeing we were at a town market. "Wow" I said, as I then paused when Kakashi held my left hand. "Come on" he said, as I nodded and we were walking through the town. It was beautiful and fun. "We should come back during the summer festival" he said, as I turned and looked at him. "Can we?" I asked excitedly, as he smiled and nodded. "Of course, I would love to see you in a kimono" he whispered, as I stopped and puffed my cheeks. "Pervert" I mumbled, as he chuckled and I blushed when he kissed my forehead. We walked around through the market and I stopped seeing a necklace in the window of one of the shops. It was very unusual: a silver chain, with a crow and scarecrow charm hanging in the middle. "Want it?" asked Kakashi, as I jumped and looked at him shocked. "Ah, no it's okay really" I said, as he smiled and pulled my left hand to walk into the shop with him. "Welcome" said a woman smiling towards us. "Can we have a look at the necklace in the window" said Kakashi, as the woman blinked a few times, but then smiled. "Of course, to be honest that necklace has been here for awhile. I just moved it to the window this morning" she said walking towards the necklace and held it out towards me. It shimmered in my eye and I looked at Kakashi, as he smiled sweetly towards me. "At least try it on" he said, as I nodded my head. Kakashi took the necklace and placed it around my neck. I lifted up my hair and then stopped when I felt Kakashi's finger tips on the back of my neck. I looked back at him seeing him staring at my neck hard. "Kakashi?" I asked, as he smiled shaking his head and lightly moved his fingers down letting go when he clasp the necklace together. "It looks great on you" said the sales woman, as I smiled and looked at the necklace on the side stand mirror they had. "We'll take it" said Kakashi, as I looked at him shocked. "B-but" I said, as he held my left hand and kissed it. "You don't want a gift from me?" he asked, as I blushed and shook my head. "N-no t-that's not i-it" I said, as he smiled more. "Good" he said, as I sweat dropped and smiled. He paid the woman and we continued to walk around the market. "So why that necklace?" asked Kakashi, as I paused and looked down at it. "I... can't tell you yet" I said, as Kakashi paused and blinked a few times. "Oh?" he asked, as I smiled at him. "It's too soon in the story" I said, as Kakashi chuckled. Time went by and we took the bus back. Kakashi then decided to walk me home. "I had a great time" I said, as Kakashi cupped my face and looked down at me. "So did I" he said, as he tilted my chin up and I smiled slowly closing my eyes expecting a kiss. I then paused when he kissed my forehead. "Good night Rei" said Kakashi, as I slowly nodded my head. I watched him walk away while holding onto my necklace. This was going somewhere right?
