"You know each other?" I asked, as Zabuza turned his head and Kakashi sighed while closing his eyes. "We were school rivals on our high school football teams" said Kakashi, as I looked at them back and forth. Zabuza sighed and then looked down at me. "I need to talk to the kid" said Zabuza, as I got out of Kakashi's arms and glared at him. "Forget it" I said, as he glared at me and I growled towards him. "Rei" said Kakashi, as I glared back at him with tears welling up in my eyes. Kakashi sighed and grabbed my wrist. I tried pulling my wrist back, but paused when Kakashi turned his head towards Haku. I looked at Haku seeing him slowly standing up and walked towards us. "Rei, I'll be okay" said Haku, as Haku walked up to Zabuza. "A little privacy?" asked Zabuza, as I glared at him. "Rei, can we borrow your room?" asked Haku, as I bit my lip but nodded. I watched as they walked down the hall. I took a step, but paused when Kakashi pulled me back. "Don't ease drop" said Kakashi, as I growled at him with tears crawling down my face. "I can do what I want" I said, as my eyes widened when Kakashi pulled me into a hug and I cried into his chest. I hated seeing Haku feel this way, he was my best friend and I could do nothing for him. Kakashi then turned his head when the intercom buzzed. "That's probably Itachi" said Kakashi, as I stayed quiet crying into Kakashi's shirt. Kakashi sighed walking over to the intercom being careful not to break the hug. "Itachi?" questioned Kakashi "Yo" said Itachi, as Kakashi buzzed him in. "How did that idiot get in anyway?" asked Kakashi, as I bit my lip. "Haku and I used to be roommates so he has a spare key" I said, as Kakashi narrowed his eyes. "You let him keep the spare key?" asked Kakashi, as I avoided eye contact. "Well, it's for emergencies and it's only him and Haku" I said, as Kakashi growled in his throat. We soon paused when Itachi came in through the door with a grocery bag full of food. "What happened?" asked Itachi, as I stopped and explained everything to him. Itachi then sighed and sweat dropped. "You do know they're probably having sex right about now" said Itachi, as my face went blank and I looked down the hall towards my room. "I'm going to have to burn my room, aren't I?" I asked, as Kakashi chuckled and hugged me from behind. "Why not spend the night at our place?" asked Kakashi, as I smiled towards him. "You both okay with that?" I asked, as Itachi kissed my right hand. "Why wouldn't we be?" asked Itachi, as I smiled more. We made our way to Kakashi and Itachi's place and I soon sat down at the living room table. I was working on my manga and I paused when Itachi grabbed my newest manga. "Ah wait" I said, as I watched when he started reading through the volume. "This is good" said Itachi, as I smiled a bit. "Really?" I asked, as he smirked and kissed my forehead. "Well it's getting late" said Itachi, as I watched as Itachi stood up and placed my manga back on the table. "Unfortunately, I only have a single bed and I doubt Kakashi will let you sleep with me" whispered Itachi, as I blushed. Itachi smiled and kissed my forehead. "Enough Itachi" said Kakashi sitting at the dining room table. Itachi chuckled and I watched him walk down the hall. I turned my head towards Kakashi seeing him typing on his laptop. "I can wait" I said, as Kakashi stopped and turned his head looking at me. "Wait?" questioned Kakashi, as I bit my lip. "For you to tell your friends" I said, as Kakashi sighed. "Rei" he said, as I stood up. Kakashi looked at me and I walked over to him. "I know I'm not mature and I know you have your back story that you don't want to share right now. However..." I said, as I paused when Kakashi stood up and placed his hands on my shoulders. "I want you to know that I'm here for you and I want to be apart of your life regardless of what your friends think" I said, as I blushed when Kakashi kissed the nape of my neck. "Rei" said Kakashi, as I looked up at him. I smiled sadly when he placed some of my hair behind my right ear. "Your very special Rei" said Kakashi, as my sadden smile faded into a straight face. Kakashi then let me go when the phone rang. I walked into the washroom and closed the door behind me. I took a deep breath trying to calm myself down. I soon walked out of the washroom after a few minutes and stopped seeing Kakashi at the front door with a woman. Her arms were wrapped around his neck and she was kissing him. I stood there frozen and tears crawled down my face.
Finally I took a step back and turned around and made my way to the washroom again. I soon locked the door behind me. Before I knew it I had fallen asleep in the bathtub. When I woke up the next morning all was quiet. I got up and slowly opened the door seeing nothing down the hallway and all the doors closed. I walked to the living room and saw my things on the living room table. I gathered everything up and stopped while looking at my new manga filled with the romance I had created for myself. I took everything with me and walked out the front door slowly closing it behind me so I wouldn't wake everyone up. I walked out of the apartment building and just stood outside deciding where to go after. I couldn't go home yet because of Haku and I dare not return to Kakashi and Itachi's place of fearing for the worst. I soon walked to the Deer Cafe and sat in my booth. "Morning Rei" said Yoshino pouring me a cup of coffee. "Morning" I said, as Yoshino raised an eyebrow at me. "You know Hana stopped by yesterday" she said, as I nodded. "Shikamaru was also asking about you" said Yoshino, as I just stared into my coffee. Yoshino sighed and then sat across from me again at the booth. "Why don't we go on an outing hmm? I know you'll feel better" said Yoshino, as I stayed quiet. Feel better? Was I even feeling depressed? I then stopped when the image of Kakashi and that woman kissing came into mind. Yes depressed seemed like the right word to describe myself. "Come" said Yoshino, as she grabbed my arm along with my things and started escorting me out of the cafe. I watched as Yoshino smiled at me and then turned her head towards the cafe. "Shikaku I'm leaving for the day" she shouted, as I paused hearing things dropping inside the cafe. We walked together towards the park and sat at a bench. It was quiet for awhile till Yoshino grabbed my hand. "Rei, you have always done things differently than anyone else" said Yoshino, as I turned my head away from her. "Is that suppose to make me feel better?" I asked, as she smiled gently towards me. "Maybe not but you don't need a man in your life to be happy" she said, as I looked at her. "I know that, I've always known that. However... with them in my life it felt natural" I said, as Yoshino sighed but smiled. "Well then, there's only one thing to do" said Yoshino, as I looked at her shocked. "We are going to have a ladies night" said Yoshino, as my eyes widened more. "But Yoshino-" I was about to say, as she put her index finger in front of my lips. "Not one word we are doing this. You wouldn't deprive your fairy godmother of a drinking night would you?" asked Yoshino, as I smiled sadly at her. "No" I said, as she patted my head. Hours passed and I finally managed to get to my apartment but stopped when my cell phone started to ring. I looked down seeing Kakashi calling me. I bit my lip and pressed the button to hang up on him. I wasn't ready for my rejection yet. No I wanted to go out with Yoshino and have a good time by myself. I sighed and unlocked the door to my apartment seeing all the lights off. I walked to the kitchen counter and saw a note from Haku.
Sorry about the past two days. I hope everything goes well for you. Talk to you later.
HakuI lightly touched the note and looked around my apartment. It was quiet, maybe even more quiet than the first time Haku moved out. I then paused when my cell phone rang again. I looked down and paused seeing Kakashi phoning me again. I pressed the button again to hang up on him and walked to my room getting ready for ladies night. I put on a nice dress and thin sweater over top. I put my hair hair in a ponytail and put contacts in my eyes. I put on my heels and grabbed my purse. I walked back to the counter and stopped when my cell rang again. I walked over to it and sighed seeing Itachi's number this time. I pressed the end call button and opened my text message app. I soon stopped when my front door knocked. I walked over to my front door opening it and smiled seeing Yoshino. "Ready to go?" she asked, as I nodded and put my cell in my purse. I grabbed my keys and walked out of my apartment locking the door behind me. We walked out of my apartment building and Yoshino spot us a cab. We drove to a night club called 'Blue Sand'. We got out and I smiled a bit looking at the place. "Let's go, the others are waiting" said Yoshino, as I paused and looked at her. "Others?" I asked, as she smiled and escorted me inside the night club. Yoshiko had invited a bunch of her friends and introduced me. A lot of them were very nice, but I didn't know if I could connect with any of them as friends. I sat at the bar and paused when a woman wearing a skimpy green dress and high heels sat next to me.
