Chapter 20

In the middle of the night, I slowly opened my eyes hearing the bedroom door open and close. I then paused hearing the sound of a man swearing while heavily breathing. My eyes then fully widened when he jumped onto the bed. I then sat up and screamed to the best of my ability considering my voice was still sore. The door flew open with Kakashi and Itachi breathing heavily, as they did the person that was on the bed flung off the bed hitting the ground. Itachi growled and then flicked the lights on. "Shisui what the hell are you doing here?" asked Itachi, as the person on the ground smiled nervously and stood up. I looked at the man seeing that some of his features looked like Itachis'. Kakashi growled and then walked over to me. He felt my forehead and then sighed in relief. "Her fevers gone" said Kakashi, as Itachi sighed in relief this time. "What she your girl Kakashi?" asked the man known as Shisui, as both Itachi and Kakashi growled while crossing their arms. "What?" asked Shisui, as Kakashi lifted me bridal style out of the bed. "Shisui take the bed" said Kakashi, as Itachi's eyes widened. "What?" asked Shisui, as Kakashi sighed. "I'm not in the mood to talk about this right now" said Kakashi, as he carried me to his room with Itachi following. Kakashi then laid me on his bed and I watched as Kakashi kissed me on the forehead. "Itachi and I will bunk. You stay here for the rest of the night" said Kakashi, as I looked at Kakashi and then Itachi. "Are you sure? I can sleep on the couch" I said, as Itachi walked over and then I blushed when he kissed my lips. "Not on your life" he whispered, as I smiled a bit. "Okay" I whispered, as sleep soon over came me.

Kakashi and Itachi soon walked out of Kakashi's room closing the door behind them and then walked over to the guest room. "Shisui" said Itachi crossing his arms, as he smiled nervously. "Alright, so I should have called, but how was I suppose to know Kakashi's girl was spending the night" said Shisui, as Kakashi sighed and glanced at Itachi. "Should you tell him or should i?" asked Kakashi, as Shisui looked at Kakashi and then Itachi. "Tell me what?" asked Shisui, as Itachi sighed and closed his eyes. "Rei is dating both Kakashi and I" said Itachi, as Shisui paused and then chuckled. "Yeah, good one" laughed Shisui, as Kakashi and Itachi kept quiet. "Wait... seriously?" asked Shisui, as both Kakashi and Itachi looked at him seriously. "What are you going to tell you father? He's already pissed that your not in the police field" said Shisui, as Itachi sighed and looked at Kakashi. "Can I take her tomorrow?" asked Itachi, as Kakashi smirked. "Sure" he said, as they then started walking out of the guest room. "Hold it" said Shisui, as they paused, turned, and looked at Shisui. "Have you guys even thought about stuff like doing it, marriage, and what's that word oh... children?" asked Shisui, as Kakashi and Itachi sighed while walking away from him.

The next morning I woke up and made my way to the dining room seeing the guy named Shisui and Itachi. I looked around and then paused when Itachi grabbed my hands. "Kakashi had a writer's meeting" said Itachi, as I nodded and the three of us ate breakfast in the dining room. "Rei" said Itachi, as I paused and looked up at him. "I want you to meet my family today, as my girlfriend and I already asked Kakashi about this. He said if you okay with it he's okay with it as well" said Itachi, as I smiled brightly. "I'd love that, but I have no new clothes" I said, as Itachi smirked and took my hand. "We'll go now. Shisui lock up" said Itachi, as Shisui smiled nervously but nodded. After buying me a new outfit at the mall, Itachi soon drove us to a large Japanese looking mansion. Itachi drove up to the front and I jumped a bit when a butler opened the door for me. I watched as Itachi came around and held out his hand to me instead. I took Itachi's hand and we started walking towards the large doors of the mansion. "So bigger then your parent's house?" asked Itachi, as I slowly nodded my head. "Well to be fair my entire family lives here. This is just the main house for my family" said Itachi, as I looked at him a bit shocked. We soon walked inside and my eyes widened seeing tons of portraits everywhere and lots of Itachi and I soon paused seeing one of a boy I met before If my memory is correct his name was-"Sasuke" said Itachi interrupting my thought, as I turned my head seeing Sasuke looking at us. "This is Rei "Atsuna" said Sasuke, as Itachi looked at Sasuke and then looked at me. "Do you two know each other?" asked Itachi, as I smiled nervously. "She was with Naruto last time I saw her. News was her editor dumped her" said Sasuke, as Itachi sighed and then escorted me closer inside the house. "Sasuke. Rei here is my girlfriend" said Itachi, as I blushed at the sound of that and Sasuke closed his eyes. "Really? Did you tell dad?" asked Sasuke, as Itachi sighed. "I am going to yes, that's why she's here" said Itachi, as Sasuke looked at me up and then down. "Whatever" said Sasuke, as he walked away from us. Itachi sighed and then cupped my face. "Sorry, he was really disappointed when I didn't enroll in the police force" said Itachi, as I held Itachi's hand that was on my face. "It's okay, to be fair I think Kin acted distant with you too" I said, as Itachi growled a bit. "Kin only acts that way with me because he's a rival in modelling" said Itachi, as I giggled. I kissed his lips lightly and Itachi looked at me shocked. I paused thinking I did something wrong, but then Itachi held the back of my head and kissed me harder. "Ahem" said a voice, as we stopped and turned our heads. I soon paused seeing a man looking at us seriously while wearing a grey kimono. "So you are home" said the man, as Itachi sighed. "Rei this is my father Fugaku Uchiha" said Itachi, as I bowed my head towards him. "It's very nice to meet you Mr. Uchiha" I said, as he looked at me up and down like Sasuke did before. He then closed his eyes. "Itachi a word" he said, as Itachi sighed then held my hand tightly and walked with me to what looked like a waiting room.

"Stay here" said Itachi, as I looked at him walk with his father to another room. I looked around and then paused at one family photo. They looked so serious and this woman who I assumed was his mother looked so beautiful. "That was on my birthday" said a voice, as I jumped and turned my head seeing the woman smiling towards me. "You must be Rei Atsuna. Sasuke said you were Itachi's new girlfriend" she said, as I bowed my head. "Nice to meet you Mrs. Uchiha" I said, as she giggled and placed her hand on my shoulder. "Now, now, no need for that" she said, as I smiled nervously. "Tell me, how did you meet?" she asked, as I paused and wondered if I should tell her everything. Itachi said he was going to any way. Was there a harm if I told her? I bit my lip and then slowly started to tell her everything. I waited for her reaction, but I paused seeing her face gone soft. "I see, so he is willing to do that is he?" she asked, as I slowly nodded my head. "You have to know, I have never done this either and I'm not very good at being around people" I said, as she giggled and I blushed a bit when she placed her hand on my head. "My dear Rei, my son lives his own life. I'm just happy that he is happy" she said, as I smiled a bit. I then jumped when hearing yelling. "FORGET IT" shouted Itachi's voice, as I turned to Itachi's mother as she sighed. Itachi came into the room and then paused looking at us standing in front of each other. "Rei we're leaving" said Itachi, as my eyes widened when he grabbed my right hand and started dragging me out of the main building. I then paused when Itachi stopped. I looked ahead and saw a beautiful woman with long brown hair and eyes. I then paused and remembered her from the magazine Kin showed me: Izumi Uchiha. I looked at Itachi seeing him not moving and then back at Izumi seeing her smiling while blushing looking at Itachi. "Hi Itachi" she said placing some of her hair behind her ear. I bit my lip and lowered my eyes. "Can we talk?" she asked, as I looked at Itachi still not moving. "I-Itachi" I whispered, as Itachi stopped and looked back at me. "R-Rei" he said, as I paused and smiled sadly. I slipped out of his hand and pointed to a certain area. "I will be over there. Come and get me when your done" I said, as I turned around and started walking away.

I sat in the middle of the grass and hugged my knees. My love life was really a complete mess. Even though Kakashi said I had nothing to worry about he still had a kiss with Rin. Now I have to worry about Itachi and his ex-girlfriend. "How cute" said a voice, as I jumped and looked seeing... Tobi? I then sighed and face palmed. I should have known another Uchiha no wonder I felt funny about him. I stood up and looked at him. "You really think you can get those two apart?" asked Tobi, as I paused and narrowed my eyes. "She has been wanting Itachi since she was four years old. She's stubborn that one" said Tobi, as I stood still not saying anything. "You should just forget about Itachi let alone Kakashi and just come with me" said Tobi, as I stopped and glared at him. There it is... that's what he wanted. "REI" shouted Itachi, as I paused and looked back at Itachi running towards us. He then stopped when standing beside me and glared at Tobi. "What the hell are you doing?" asked Itachi towards Tobi, as he chuckled and closed his eyes. "None of your business, but Rei please keep in mind what I said" said Tobi, as we watched him walk away.
