Chapter 8

A couple hours went by and I waved goodbye to Naruto, Sasuke, Shikamaru and the rest after signing a bunch of manga for them. I then sighed and looked at the sun setting. I bit my lip and slowly walked over back to Kakashi and Itachi's apartment. I had three rules for myself: get inside, get your things and get the hell out. I sighed walking up the entrance and pressed the intercom button. "Yeah?" sounded a depressed Kakashi, as I sighed and closed my eyes. "I'm here for my stuff" I said, as I paused when the intercom buzzed right away. I walked inside and made my way to the elevator. I pressed the fifth floor button. My eyes then widened seeing both Itachi and Kakashi breathing heavily in front of the elevator doors as they opened. "REI" they shouted at me, as I jumped looking at them shocked. "Let us explain" they said at the same time while Itachi grabbed my right hand and Kakashi grabbed my left. I looked at one and then the other. What exactly were they doing? Why were they so upset? Wasn't I the one being toyed with here? And why were they sweating? They both pulled me out of the elevator and guided me into their apartment. Once the door closed behind us, I sat down on the couch watching them pace back and forth. "It's not what you think" said Itachi, as I looked at him. "In fact it's the opposite" said Kakashi, as I looked at him. Opposite? "Yeah like that explains it" said Itachi, as Kakashi narrowed his eyes at Itachi. "Like your one to talk" said Kakashi, as I looked at them back and forth. "You" I said, as they stopped and looked at me. "You... both like me?" I asked, as they paused and looked at each other, but slowly nodded their heads. I again looked at one and then the other. "So... your... both okay with me going out with both of you?" I asked, as they eyed each other but didn't react. "Or... is this a competition?" I asked, as their eyes widened and then they turned away from each other. I sighed deeply and then stood up. "Rei" they said, as I put up my hands. "My life is crap right now" I said, as they paused and eyed each other. "I don't have time for competitions and fights. I don't need it" I said, as they both kept quiet waiting for me to finish. "I have never been good in relationships. However... if you both are willing to see past that, then I can see past this ordeal and date either one of you" I said, as Itachi and Kakashi raised an eyebrow at each other. "Are you saying you want both of us?" asked Itachi, as my eyes widened and I blushed bright red. "HUH?!" I shouted, as Kakashi and Itachi both smirked at me. I then jumped a bit when Kakashi kissed my forehead and Itachi kissed the top of my left ear. I looked at them shocked and they both smirked at me. "That's what we wanted to discuss with you" said Kakashi, as I kept looking at them back and forth. "You see" said Itachi, as I looked at him. "We're kind of messes ourselves" said Itachi "We both love and admire you. It just seemed natural to get what we both wanted" said Kakashi. "What you both wanted?" I asked, as Itachi took my right hand and Kakashi took my left. "You" they both said, as I blushed bright red. Was this real? Or were they just screwing with me again? How do I know this wasn't them trying to screw me again? I soon paused as Kakashi gave me my shoes and Itachi gave me my purse. "We will give you as much time as you need to think about this" said Kakashi "After all we love you" said Itachi, as I looked at the both of them. "But that knee to the gut did hurt" said Itachi smiling nervously while rubbing his stomach. I bit my lip looking at one and then the other. I stood up and they both stood up along with me. I then walked to the door and turned the knob. I took a step and then looked back at them smiling at me. "Your both idiots" I said, as they sighed a bit. "However" I said, as they paused and looked at me. "If you two... can really get along, not fight, and not mess with me. I... might come back" I said, as they both smiled a bit. I then turned around and walked out of the apartment and soon the building.

Soon I made my way back to the cafe and sat in my booth. Yoshino then smiled walking up to me. "I see you got your things back" said Yoshino, as I blushed and bit my lower lip. "Yoshino" I mumbled, as she sat across from me and I looked at her. "I "YOSHINO" shouted Hana, as we both sighed and looked at Hana and Haku walking into the cafe. "Coffee" whined Hana, as Yoshino sighed sitting up so Hana and Haku could sit down. "Coming up" she said, as I looked at Hana groaning while holding her head and Haku smiled nervously. "So Rei how was your night last night?" asked Haku, as I paused and looked for the right words to say. As Yoshino was walking over with coffee, I took a deep breath and looked at them seriously. "Itachi and Kakashi have decided they both want to have me" I said, as everyone's eyes widened and Yoshino dropped the cup filled with coffee on the floor breaking it. "HUH?!" they shouted, as I turned my head. "That's what I said" I said turning my head a bit. "You realize that sounds crazy right?" asked Hana, as I avoided eye contact. Haku eyed me and then sighed. "It might be good for her" said Haku, as both Hana and Yoshino looked at him shocked. "Come again" said Hana, as Haku turned to her. "Look they are famous guys. If one can't be with her the other can. When neither of them can't she has us. Besides it might even help her self esteem not to mention how to stick up for herself. If she wants something she's going to have to speak out to them in particular yes, but it can help her in the long run" said Haku, as I looked at him shocked. Hana then sighed and closed her eyes. "I swear Haku if you weren't gay, I'd think you were Rei's own parent" said Hana, as Haku smirked. Then both Hana and Haku looked at me. "Be happy about this" said Hana and Haku, as I smiled and nodded. Yoshino sighed a bit but then smield while cleaning up the coffee and broken cup off the floor. "There's something else too" I said, as they stopped and looked at more. "More intense than having two famous boyfriends?" asked Hana, as I sighed and held out Konan's business card. "My editor dropped me and hours later a new company wanted to pick me off" I said, as they took the business card and looked at it. "Akatsuki Corp?" asked Hana "Never heard of it" said Yoshino, as Haku narrowed his eyes. "Something wrong Haku?" I asked, as he paused and looked up at me. He then shook his head and smiled. "No, nothing. You should call" he said, as Hana sighed heavily this time. "She knows nothing about this place. How can she possibly go there?" asked Hana, as Yoshino then placed a new cup of coffee in front of Hana. "I think she should at least hear them out" said Yoshino, as Hana sighed deeply again. "Everyone is against me" she said, as Haku placed the buisness card back in my hands. "It's up to you Rei. We know you were miserable at Hamura" said Haku, as I looked down at the business card. Hours went by and eventually Hana left and then Haku. Soon the cafe was closing and I started making my way home. I took out my cell phone looking at the left over messages from my previous editor on it. Telling me how childish I was being and how I needed to become a mature adult. I didn't even bother listening to the voicemails. I then looked at the business card in my hands and started dialing the number. "Miss Atsuna, we've been waiting for your call" said a voice, as my eyes widened a little freaked out. "Uh, how did- "I know it was you?" asked the voice, as he chuckled. "Your the only one right now that Konan has given our business card to. We are very interested for you to be working with us" said the voice, as I eyed my cell phone. "Meet us at Royal Ave and King Street tomorrow at eight a.m. We're the only building on that block" said the voice, as I paused hanging up. I didn't know if this was a bad sign or a good sign. I soon was home and paused when my cell rang. I sighed looking at it and then I stopped reading the text message.

'Have a good night. Hope to see you tomorrow. Love Itachi and Kakashi'

I soon smiled and then I paused. Should I text something back?I bit my lip and then I started texting back.

'Be safe. Love Rei'

I then paused looking at the message. Love? I couldn't help but blush now. Maybe... this was good for me.
