Chapter 11

I waited by the elevator doors for everything to be finished. I then paused seeing Itachi walking past me. "Itachi" I said, as he stopped and eyed me. "I'm sorry about tricking you before" I said, as Itachi paused and raised an eyebrow at me. "Is that why your acting weird?" asked Itachi, as I looked at him shocked. "N-no, I thought you were angry with me" I said, as Itachi sighed and then grabbed my arms. I then paused as he looked down at me. "Even if I was, you talk to me about it. Don't close off any emotions you have with me" he said, as I lowered my eyes. "Rei" said a voice, as I sighed turning my head seeing Kin. "Come on" he said, as I looked up at Itachi narrowing his eyes at Kin. "We can still go out after right?" I asked, as Itachi paused and looked down at me. "Uh... sure" he said, as I watched him walk into the elevator doors. I waved slightly and he just looked at me till the doors closed. "Man, he's really desperate isn't he?" laughed Kin, as I narrowed my eyes at him. "Not funny Kin" I said, as he wrapped his right arm around my shoulder. "Ah come on sis. You know dad has been wanting to see you" he said, as I turned my head. "Doubt it" I mumbled, as Kin smirked and grabbed my hand. Kin walked me to his black corvette and I got in the passenger side. Kin started driving and I kept quiet through the whole thing. "You know, both mom and dad were both surprised when you told them you wanted to be a manga artist" said Kin, as I crossed my arms. "Even more surprised when your work showed nothing but death, betrayal and greed" said Kin, as I stared out the window. "What's your point Kin?" I asked, as he chuckled while glancing at me. "Mom thought it be best that you needed someone to take care of you. That's why she's doing all this arranged marriage meetings crap" said Kin, as I narrowed my eyes. "In other words, she wants me to forget about my manga dream and take care of someone else that only she approves of" I said, as Kin chuckled and we stopped at a sushi restaurant. As Kin parked the car, I got out and looked at him. "Come on, Nobu is waiting" he said, as I stood there not moving. "Rei, it's just Nobu. I promise" he said raising an eyebrow towards me. I sighed and walked towards the restaurant. As Kin and I walked in, sure enough there was my little brother. 

We walked over and sat across from Nobu in a booth. "I was wondering if you were actually going to show" said Nobu, as I kept quiet. Nobu sighed and looked at me. "Rei, mom is just worried about you. Heck, she was waiting for me to visit just so you wouldn't hang up on her over the phone about this" said Nobu, as I closed my eyes. "Excuse me" said a voice, as we turned our heads seeing our waitress blushing while looking at us. "C-can I have you... your order?" she asked, as I rolled my eyes and my brother Kin smiled gently. "Three of your daily specials please" he said winking at her, as she giggled and walked to the counter. "Every time" I mumbled, as Kin eyed me and Nobu smirked at Kin. "So... should I ask?" asked Kin, as Nobu and I looked at him. "Ask what?" questioned Nobu, as Kin smirked taking his right hand and lightly tapped on the top of my neck where my hickey was. My eyes widened and I covered it with my whole hand. "Sis?" asked Nobu, as I turned my head away not saying anything. "Be quiet" I said, as Nobu sighed and Kin smirked taking out a magazine. "You know it's not going to work right?" asked Kin, as I glared at him. Kin then opened a page of the magazine and showed it to me. My eyes then widened seeing Itachi and a beautiful woman next to him on it. "Her name is Izumi Uchiha" said Kin, as I stopped and just looked at the page. "She kept her mother's last name to be entitled to Itachi's family. They are very famous especially when keeping peace in town. They have lots of siblings and family members who are top be enrolled in the police academy or anything involving that line. For her to even have his name they are expected to be married into the future" said Kin, as I just looked down at the page before me. I knew all that. I knew everything about that. Itachi told me himself, but why did it feel even worse when Kin had to point it out to me? "Rei" said Nobu, as I stayed quiet. "Just come to one meeting" said Nobu, as I looked at me brothers. This was really a double standard. My older brother who wants to be a model and does as he pleases gets to go out in the world and does what he wants. Nobu, gets to go to college overseas and barely gets to see us as it is. I want to move out into my own place and have my own job that's different but makes me happy... no I have to be taken care of and shipped off married so not to disappoint everyone. I then looked down at the food that was placed in front of us. "At least talk with either mom or dad about this" said Kin, as I stayed quiet. "If mom can't understand this then confess to dad about it" said Kin, as I closed my eyes. I soon watched as my brothers ate to their hearts content, but my mind was elsewhere. "Rei" said a voice, as we all turned our heads and my eyes widened seeing Itachi breathing heavily. "Itachi" I said, as my eyes widened more when he grabbed my hand and pulled me out of the restaurant. 

When standing outside I looked at Itachi still breathing heavily. He soon cupped my face making me smile, but then I paused when he moved his hand to the back of my head. He then pulled me close and I smiled hugging him. "Don't leave" he whispered, as I paused and looked up at him. "Leave?" I asked, as he looked down at me. "For Kin, don't leave us for that jerk" he said, as I blinked a few times and then laughed. Itachi looked at me shocked and I laughed more. "Itachi, Kin is not even my type" I said, as he growled. "I know that, so why the hell are you with him to begin with?" asked Itachi angrily, as I smiled and cupped his face. "Itachi, Kin is my older twin brother" I said, as Itachi stopped and his eyes widened. He looked back inside the restaurant seeing Kin smirking at him and Nobu sighing while holding his head. "You look-" nothing alike. I know" I interrupted, as Itachi sighed. I soon smiled and took Itachi's hand and we walked back inside the restaurant. Kin moved to sit next to Nobu and Itachi sat next to me in a booth. "Itachi Uchiha. Nice to officially meet you" smirked Kin, as I rolled my eyes and Itachi narrowed his. "You really like to talk don't you Kin" said Itachi, as Kin brought out the magazine and showed him. "I just couldn't help but look after my little sister" said Kin, as Itachi's eyes widened and I turned my head. "I've already talked to her about this" said Itachi, as Kin smirked. "And yet, you haven't said a word to anyone else" said Kin "Enough" I said, as everyone looked at me. "Come on Rei" said Kin, as I took the magazine and hit him on the head with it. "ENOUGH" I shouted, as they looked at me shocked. "I'm tired of this topic, can we please talk about something else?" I asked, as Kin sighed turning his head and soon it was quiet. "You should really talk to dad about this" said Nobu, as well all paused and looked at him. "Why dad?" I asked, as Nobu sighed. "Well considering everything that is happening it's the best option" said Nobu, as I sighed. "I'm going" I said standing up. "Rei" said Itachi, as I ignored him and walked out of the restaurant for the second time. I walked towards Itachi's car and just stood by the passenger door. I then paused and closed my eyes as Itachi walked up to me and hugged me close. "Rei" he whispered, as I shook my head and just continued to hug him. When it ended I got into Itachi's car and he started driving us back to his apartment. He then eyed me. "Wanna stay the night?" he asked, as I lowered my eyes but soon nodded my head. "If you don't mind" I mumbled, as Itachi kissed my forehead. "Not at all" he whispered, as we got to his parking garage and made our way back to his apartment. When we walked in I laid on the couch and covered my head with a pillow that was there. "Do I even want to know?" asked Kakashi's voice, as Itachi sighed and explained the whole thing. Kakashi sighed and put a cigarette in his mouth. "Do you want us to go with you?" asked Kakashi, as both him and Itachi looked at me from the couch. "I want to die" I muffled in the pillow, as Itachi and Kakashi eyed each other. "Rei, unless you explain things to at least one of your parents your situation could get a whole lot worse" said Kakashi, as I sat up and looked at them. "And you two?" I asked, as they paused and looked at each other. "My parents are passed" said Kakashi "Mine aren't really that concern about me" said Itachi, as I narrowed my eyes at him. Itachi sighed and then walked over to me. "I will tell mine I promise, but I think your situation should come first" said Itachi, as I sighed and covered my head with a pillow again
