"Two shots of bourbon" she said, as I looked at her face flushed. She looked like she had a lot to drink already. The bartender placed two shot glasses down and filled it with bourbon like the woman requested. She then turned to me and placed one shot in front of me. "I don't drink" I said politely, as she snickered. "Nonsense drinking is the best" she said placing the shot glass in my hand. She then clanked her own shot glass against mine and gulped it down. I didn't want to be rude so I ended up gulping down the bourbon myself. "Names Tsunade" she said, as I smiled. "Rei" I said, as she smiled towards me. "You waiting for your boyfriend?" she asked, as I paused having another image of Kakashi kissing that woman come into my mind. "No, my friend is with me" I said pointing to Yoshino, as Tsunade looked and laughed. "Well, why didn't you say so" she said wrapping her arm around my shoulder. "Bar keep" she said, as the bartender sighed while looking at her. "Drinks all around" said Tsunade, as the bartender narrowed his eyes. "Miss Tsunade I am cutting you off" said the bartender, as her smile faded while hugging me. "See this is what I mean Rei-Rei no respect" she said while breathing her alcoholic breath on me. "Miss Tsunade, do you need a ride home?" I asked, as she laughed and chuckled while holding me close. "It looks like she got herself drunk again" said Yoshino, as I turned my head to look at Yoshino. "Mind giving up your couch for the night?" asked Yoshino, as I sighed. "Yeah, fine" I said, as I sighed taking Tsunade outside and looked back at the bar seeing everyone else laughing and having a good time. I soon grabbed a cab and it drove us back to my apartment. I laid Tsunade on the couch and put a waste basket near her head. I soon put my purse on the counter and was about to take out my cell, but I stopped when Tsunade was groaning. "You okay?" I asked, as I winced a bit when she threw up in the waste basket. I decided to forget about my cell for the night and make my way to my room. I soon got changed in my pyjamas and went to bed.
I soon jumped up the next morning hearing banging on my door. I sighed and slowly walked to the front door not noticing that Tsunade was growling while slowly getting up herself. I got to the door and opened it slightly, however, the door slammed opened in front of my face. "REI!" shouted Kakashi, as I looked at him shocked. He had sweat pouring down his face and his hair was soaking wet. My eyes then widened when Kakashi grabbed my arms. "What were you thinking?" asked Kakashi, as I narrowed my eyes at him. "I have been trying to call you all night" he said, as I avoided looking him in the eyes. "REI" shouted Kakashi again, as we turned our heads when hearing groaning. Tsunade narrowed her eyes and walked towards us. "Kakashi it is never okay to grab and shout at a woman especially in her own apartment" said Tsunade, as she grabbed Kakashi by the ear and dragged him outside. "Now, until you know how to act like a proper gentleman you are forbidden to enter this apartment" said Tsunade, as she slammed the door in Kakashi's face. Tsunade then locked the door and turned to me. "You know Kakashi?" I asked, as Tsunade smiled at me. "Mind if I have some tea?" she asked, as I walked to my kitchen counter and started boiling some water. I placed two tea cups on the counter and watched as Tsunade sat at the bar stool that was on the other side of the counter. As the water boiled there was silence between us for a long while. "Do you want to know more about him?" asked Tsunade, as I paused and closed my eyes. "No" I said, as she looked at me shocked. "I promised myself I would wait till he was ready to tell me" I said as the water boiled and I soon poured the water in the tea cups and soon added the tea bags after. "That's very grownup" said Tsunade, as I handed her the tea cup. She took the cup and I looked at my reflection in my tea cup. Even if it means he will never say anything to me. "So you and Kakashi?" she asked, as I looked up at her smirking towards me. "Not exactly" I said, as she raised an eyebrow. "What do you mean?" asked Tsunade, as I kept quiet. "Kakashi should really be the one to explain everything" I said, as I grabbed my purse from the counter and took out my cell phone. Huh? It was dead. Now that I thought about it, I haven't been able to plug in my phone for at least three or four days. I walked to my room taking my charger and walked back plugging my phone into the outlet. As soon as I did my eyes widened when my phone rang again and again as I was getting missed calls, texts and voicemails from Kakashi and Itachi. "Sounds like he cares a lot about you" said Tsunade, as I narrowed my eyes thinking about the day before yesterday. "Something wrong?" asked Tsunade, as I bit my lower lip. This image was eating away at me and I needed to tell someone. So I told her. She sat there holding the cup of tea in her hands and sighed deeply. "That does sound awful" she said, as I quietly blew on my tea. Tsunade then placed the tea cup down and sat up. I looked at her shocked when she the unlocked the front door and opened it. There Kakashi was standing and he hadn't moved from his position the whole time. "You should really start talking" said Tsunade, as Kakashi avoided eye contact. "Do you want her to slip away?" asked Tsunade, as Kakashi growled and stepped inside. I watched as Kakashi slowly walked towards me and gently cupped my face in his cool hands. I then paused as tears then crawled down my face. This was it, this was what I was waiting for. A clean break to finally set me free. "Rei, I love you" said Kakashi, as I stopped and looked at him shocked. "That woman... that woman was from my past and I swear to you she doesn't mean anything to me" he said, as I slowly closed my eyes placing my tea cup on the counter. "And the kiss?" I asked, as Kakashi bent down to me and my eyes widened as he kissed me passionately. His lips were cool, soft and secure. "Meant nothing" he whispered, as I smiled when he hugged me close. "Kakashi" said Tsunade, as he turned his head and looked at her. "You need to tell her everything" said Tsunade, as Kakashi sighed and cupped my face making me look at him.
Kakashi then guided me to the couch and sat me down. He held my hands together and looked at me seriously. "That woman was named Rin Nohara. She... has been back and forth between me and my friend Obito" said Kakashi, as I tilted my head a bit. "I finally decided that I wanted you and as I was telling her this, she decided to kiss me to see if she could salvage anything" said Kakashi, as I hugged him close and put my head against his chest. "You mean it?" I asked, as Kakashi and Tsunade both looked at me. "Mean what?" asked Kakashi, as I looked at him. "That you want me" I said, as Tsunade smirked while closing her eyes and Kakashi smiled and kissed my forehead. "Since the first day I met you running late to get to that stupid celebration meeting" whispered Kakashi, as I smiled more and hugged him tightly. It was finally gone. All the doubt, all the uneasiness and all the fear. They were all gone from the pit of my stomach. "So then" said Tsunade, as we stopped and looked at her. "Should I plan the barbecue to celebrate?" asked Tsunade, as I looked up at Kakashi and he sighed. "Tsunade, it's more complicated than that" said Kakashi, as she raised an eyebrow. "Complicated how?" asked Tsunade, as we paused hearing footsteps and I smiled seeing Itachi. "Why is the door open?" asked Itachi, as he stopped and looked seeing Tsunade. "Ah, principal Tsunade" said Itachi, as she narrowed her eyes. "Itachi, what are you doing here?" she asked, as Itachi smiled nervously. "I'm here to see Rei" said Itachi, as Tsunade stopped and looked at me, then Kakashi and then Itachi. "Seriously?" said Tsunade, as they smiled nervously. "Please understand" I said letting go of Kakashi and walking up to Tsunade. "I... don't have many people in my life who love me for me. Kakashi and Itachi both agreed to share me. I was confused at first but then little by little... they took my heart... however small it may be" I said, as Tsunade smiled and placed her hands on my shoulders. "You have the greatest heart and believe me it's not small, especially since you took in a friend of a friend into your home so she could sober up for a night" said Tsunade, as I smiled.
