The moments standing there felt like hours. My tears did not stop and my feelings were being tested. This... this whole thing was bull shit and I finally got up the nerve to push past my sadness. "What is this?" I finally managed to ask with my tears still streaming down my face. I watched as Itachi and Kakashi looked at each other not knowing what to say. I took a deep breath within my mind which managed to clear some of the tears giving me the courage to ask again. "What is this?" I said with my voice gaining some volume and no hesitation. "Itachi and I are roommates" said Kakashi, as both he and Itachi jumped a bit when I glared at him. "I knew that much already, what is this bull shit?" I said, as Kakashi sighed and Itachi growled at my remark. "Rei" said Kakashi, as I shook my head and walked passed Itachi. As I did, Itachi grabbed my wrist causing me to turn around and knee him in the gut. Both Itachi and Kakashi's eyes widened. Itachi soon let me go and covered his stomach with both hands. I then walked out the door slamming it behind me. I ran downstairs and then stopped in front of the Deer Cafe. I banged on the door and I soon heard shouting. "DO YOU KNOW WHAT THE TIME IS?!" shouted Shikaku, as he stopped and looked down at me. He soon sighed while rubbing the back of his head with his right hand. "Ah geez, Rei" he said, as he placed his hand on my head. "Come inside" he said, as I walked inside the cafe and Shikaku closed as well as locked the door behind me. I sat at my booth and Shikaku sighed while looking at me. He then turned his head as Yoshino appeared beside him in her robe. She patted Shikaku's shoulder for him to go to bed. He nodded and Yoshino walked towards me sitting across from me in the booth. She smiled sadly seeing my head lowered and not moving. "That bad huh?" she asked, as I avoided eye contact. "Must be considering you have no shoes and your purse is gone" she said, as I stopped and but my lip. "You look like you haven't slept either" she said, as I eyed her. "They were toying with me" I mumbled, as Yoshino paused. "That doesn't sound like Haku and Hana" said Yoshino, as I stopped and lowered my head. Yoshino's eyes then widened and covered my hands with her own. I looked up at Yoshino smiling gently towards me. "You can take the guest room" she said, as I nodded. I followed Yoshino upstairs and looked around at her place. It was homey and loud, nothing like Kakashi and Itachi's apartment. I stopped walking and froze still. Yoshino then paused and looked back at me. "Rei?" questioned Yoshino, as I shook my head and smiled at her. A fake smile, but I couldn't help it. I was now getting tired and I no longer could cry. As soon as Yoshino opened the door for me in the guest bedroom; I fell forward on the bed and closed my eyes. "Get some sleep Rei" said Yoshino, as she closed the door causing me to fully go to sleep.
Hours later, I heard whispering coming from the other side of the door. "I'm telling you I saw a woman in there" whispered a voice, as I slowly opened an eye. "Even if there was one so what" whispered another voice, as I raised my head looking at the door. "Is your dad cheating on your mom Shikamaru?" asked a third voice, as I then sat up on the bed. "No way, that's way too troublesome" said a fourth voice, as I sighed getting up and walking towards the door. "I bet she's hot" said the first voice "and smart" said the second voice "your all dreaming" said the fourth voice, as I quickly turned the knob and opened the door causing four boys to fall back and hit their butts in the ground. I saw one blonde, one brunette, one boy who was a little chubby and the fourth one I knew had to be Shikaku's son being the spitting image of him. They smiled nervously at me and I raised an eyebrow at them. "Ah Rei" said Yoshino walking towards us, as I smiled at her. "Thanks for letting me sleep here" I said, as she smiled and walked over to me. "Don't worry about it, here you can have some of my old clothes and use these sandals until you can get your things back" said Yoshino placing the items in my arms. I then sighed... right have to go back and have my soul ripped out. "AH" shouted the two out of the four boys, as Yoshino and I turned our heads and looked at them. "Y-your Rei Atsuna" said the blonde, as I blinked a couple times and then smiled nervously. "Uh, yes... I am" I said also nervously, as both him and the brunette took out two volumes of my manga. One called the horror of his name and the other the victory in his honour. "Can we please get your autograph?" asked the blonde, as I smiled a bit and Yoshino chuckled. I signed their manga and smiled softly seeing them smiling bright while holding their manga in the hands. "Rei, why not come to the cafe and eat something?" asked Yoshino, as I turned my head towards Yoshino and nodded my head. I walked down and sat in my booth. Yoshino soon placed an omelette with toast in front of me. "Pay later, for now eat up" she said, as I slowly nodded my head. I picked up my fork and as soon as I was close to my food, I stopped hearing shouting. "REI" shouted my editor, as I sighed deeply and looked up at her tapping her foot towards me. "Why haven't you been answering my calls again Rei?" she asked, as I kept quiet. Like hell I was going to tell her anything about my life, she found me a nuisance and a pain to look after. Why should I tell her anything? "That's it Rei" said my editor, as I stopped and glanced up at her. "I have had enough of this. Find yourself another editor" she said slamming her resignation letter in front of me and started walking out the door. "HOLD IT" shouted the blonde, as my now former editor paused and looked back at the blonde hair kid. "You can't do that Rei Atsuna is one of the best manga artist out there" he said, as she sneered and narrowed her eyes at him. "Listen you brat I-" she was about to say, but I quickly picked up my food and shoved the omelette in her face. Everyone looked at me shocked and Yoshino sighed. "I wish that editor would watch herself" said Yoshino, as the boys looked at her even more shocked. "Mom?" questioned the boy that looked like Shikaku. Yoshino smield at him. "Normally Rei is very quiet and humble, until you say the wrong things about the people she cares for" said Yoshino, as I placed the plate down and my former editor now glared at me. "You'll never be a great manga artist... ever" she said, as I narrowed my eyes at her. "You really think I give a rat's ass about what the hell someone like you thinks of me? Well I don't. However, you say one more thing to my fan like that again and next time it will be more than just food in your face" I threatened, as she growled and walked away. "You didn't have to do that" said the kid with blonde hair, as I smiled and messed up his hair. "Of course I did, your my fan right? I'm not going to let her talk to you like that" I said, as he blushed while smiling brightly. "Ahem" coughed Yoshino, as I stopped and looked at her. "Maybe you kids can introduce her to your other friends, I'm sure they're fans of her too" said Yoshino, as my eyes widened. "Sounds great" said the brunette kid, as all four of them started leading me out of the cafe. "YOSHINO" I shouted, as she smiled while watching me leave. The guys took me to an arcade and sure enough a lot of the boys friends were fans of mine. I also started learning their names as well. "What are you doing here with us anyway?" asked Sasuke, as I smiled nervously. "Uh, well" I said, as I paused when Naruto stuck out his tongue at Sasuke. "Don't be jealous because she thinks we're cooler than you" said Naruto, as I smiled nervously. "Doubt it" said Sasuke, as Naruto and Sasuke growled towards each other. "I don't know, she's an excellent judge of character" said a voice, as everyone stopped including myself seeing a woman with purple hair wearing a paper flower in her hair. She was also wearing a black dress that stopped above her knee and long black boots.

"Names Konan, I'm an assistant of the Akatsuki publishing company" she said, as everyone stopped and looked at me. "I've never heard of it" I said narrowing my eyes at her. "We're a small company about to branch out into manga, we want you Rei Atsuna to be our first manga artist" she said, as I crossed my arms. "And Why should I? I could just ask another editor in Hauma Inc." I said, as Konan smirked while crossing her arms this time. "True you could, but can they meet your needs, help you out when your stuck, go in your place at crowded social events? she asked, as I stopped and looked at her shocked. It's like she knew what I wanted to hear. I then stopped when she handed me a business card. "Look forward to hearing from you" she said, as I took the card and watched her walk away. "That's awesome Rei" said NAruto, as I stopped and looked at him. "Your going to get another editor" he said smiling, as I softly smiled at him. The question was... could I trust them?
