{Lina}

LINA HADN'T REALLY FALLEN ASLEEP. She had just closed her eyes to get out of a scolding from Jason. The girl wished she actually had fallen asleep especially since Leo and Jason decided to have a little heart to heart. Lina didn't want to get in the way or make things awkward so she continued her act and tried to tune the boys out.

There was suddenly a silence that loomed, it made Lina slightly uncomfortable. A sigh left her lips as she slowly sat up. In the firelight, she could see Jason's profile and she secretly admired him as she made her way over to him. Jason looked slightly surprised when Lina sat next to him, but she only gave him a smile. The silence stretched on as Lina searched for a conversation starter.

"So..... 'flame on!' I gotta say I kinda like that catchphrase." The girl joked awkwardly as she stared at the fire. Jason sputtered and she could feel his eyes on her.

"You heard all of that? Everything?" Jason asked a bit of shyness in his voice. Lina nodded, knowing he was still looking at her.

"It was nice. I can see you really care about him. About both of them really." Lina told him a soft smile on her face as she looked at him with her head in her hands.

Jason nodded. "They've really helped get through all of this. I couldn't imagine what I would be like without them." He laughed a little. "It might be a little too early to say that as I actually don't know."

Lina snorted. "Thanks, Grace. I was about to 'awwww' but thanks for ruining it." She shook her head. "I know how you feel though. I wouldn't be the same person without Percy or Annabeth. They really helped me." Her voice cracked a little at the end.

She could feel Jason's sympathetic gaze. She turned to tell him that she was fine, to not take her seriously when he suddenly put an arm around her shoulders and scooted closer to her. Her voice was lost in her throat as she stared up at Jason in surprise. He refused to look at her though instead choosing to look at the fire.

Lina was confused but she chose to let it go knowing she wouldn't be able to get answers from him. So she chose to lean her head on his shoulder and turn to look at the fire as well.

"Hey, Lina." Jason's voice came out softly.

Lina hummed in response.

"What's your, uh, what's your last name."

"Goodwell." Her voice came out sleepily, she was tired from the journey so far.

"That's a nice last name. Would you ............"

Lina never heard the end of his question because no matter how hard she tried to she couldn't help but slip into dreamland.

Someone was shaking her. They wanted her to wake up.

Lina whined and tried to slap at whoever was touching her.

"Little Miss Sunshine's got claws." That was definitely Leo.

"Do you think she's uncomfortable?" That was Piper.

"I dunno she's kinda cute like this."

This comment shocked her. It was Jason's voice, but would Jason really say that? She had to confirm it with her own eyes. Her eyes shot open and she peered up only to be met with three pairs of eyes so close to her face. She shot up surprised and head-butted one of them in the midst of her frantic behavior.
