{Lina}
LINA WAS ON HOUSE ARREST or well cabin arrest. Will had interrogated her as soon as she had recovered which had only taken him an hour, but thankfully she had fallen asleep almost immediately after he had started yelling.
The downside to that was here she was the morning after waking up with Will glaring down at her.
"I didn't want you going on this quest," Will sighed. "And I'm glad you're back safe, I really am. But, Lina hearing that you died. I don't think I could take losing another sister. Especially my favorite one."
Lina's heart warmed at his words. "Okay technically I almost died, I mean I'm here right," she winced that the stare he gave her.
"I'm sorry, but it's true and, I'll still be here to be your annoying little sister. Death himself would have to come get me for us to be separated." Lina stood up to give him a hug, her arms wrapping around him as he squeezed her softly.
"Even though you are only older than me by like two months."
"It's three months and four days"
"Whatever you say." Lina rolled her eyes playfully as she stepped into the bathroom getting ready for the day. Breakfast wasn't until another two hours, the perks of being Apollo's kid, you rose when the sun did. But she found herself restless as she wandered around the cabin, not wanting Will to lecture her again about not listening to him.
Once breakfast had passed and everyone was off doing their planned activities, Lina started to get antsy. She had tried to convince Will that it was in fact safe for her to go out and do arts and crafts, something that even though she would dread doing was better than being cooped up in the cabin under Will's watchful eye.
He had, of course disagreed with her.
She must've gotten on his nerves, however, as she made her 20th round, around the cabin.
"Go outside, Lina," Will's voice sounded strained. "Go shoot something or walk in circles outside, please."
Lina's face broke out in a smile as she grabbed her bow and arrow and practically sprinted outside.
"Slowly, please, I don't want you falling over and dying!" he yelled out.
The girl slowed, rolling her eyes at what her brother insinuated but continued on her way to the archery range.
She had gone through her whole quiver and half of another when Lina decided she should take a break. Slinging her bow onto her shoulder she reached down for her water and as she glanced around camp she spotted two familiar figures. Turning back she figured she had done enough exercise for today and made her way over to them.
"Hey strangers." Lina greeted as she got closer to Jason and Piper.
"Hey, Will finally let you out? We missed you out here." Piper joked as Lina sat on the ground in front of them.
"I think I annoyed him so much, he would have let me out even if I wasn't okay." The blonde snickered as she answered.
A breeze cut through as silence took over momentarily.
"So, what were you guys talking about? I mean unless you can't tell me."
"No, it's okay. I mean I can tell you. We were just discussing these dreams I've been having lately." Jason answered her as he spun the basketball in his hand.
Lina's face soured as she nodded in understanding, "Yeah demigod dreams tend to suck. There was this one time though, I had a dream Percy and I were flying through the sky on giant seahorses but instead of clouds the sky was full of donuts. Scary stuff right there."
A snort brought Lina's attention back to the two in front of her. Piper's face had pure confusion written on it as she stared at the blonde. While Jason's face was half amused, and what half looked of concern.
"Yeah, yeah. I know. Shut up, Lina." She rolled her eyes as she guessed the next words out of Jason's mouth.
"No, actually. You're cute when you make jokes," Lina's jaw dropped as she stared the boy. Piper equally as shocked as an unknown emotion flickered on her face. "But honestly it's not good news. My memories aren't good for any of us."
There was an underlying emotion Jason's voice held that made Lina wonder what exactly he was remembering.
"We'll figure it out," Piper spoke out.
"Annabeth and Rachael are coming back later tonight, a meeting of sorts, I believe." Lina mentioned as her finger poked at the ground.
"Yeah, I think I'll wait until then. Just so everyone knows at the same time." Jason kicked some dirt up in Lina's direction.
She shot him a glare as she picked up a small clump of dirt and threw it at his leg.
"Leo said he had something to show us, right?" Piper said suddenly, interrupting their fight. "Something out in the woods."
"Oh right, yeah he mentioned that." Jason blinked as he slowly got to his feet.
Lina winced at this information. She hadn't been told maybe on purpose, maybe on accident? But she couldn't hold it against them, their trio had grown tight over the last few days. Could she really bring herself to butt in, invited or not. With the thoughts swirling in her head she slowly got up dusting her pants, making sure no dirt was on her.
"If Leo's waiting for you guys go ahead. I think I'll head back to my cabin, Will's probably waiting for me anyway." Her excuse sounded lame even to herself.
"You're not coming? Leo said he wanted us there. All of us." Jason froze as confusion leaked from his tone.
"All of us?" Lina squeaked surprised as the information settled on her. "I- I didn't, didn't kn- know. No one told me."
If Lina hadn't been looking at Jason she would have missed the quick glance he had given Piper. Her eyes darted over to the brunette only to find her staring at her lap. A creeping sensation took her over as she realized what that look could have meant.
A hand slowly and gently enclosed Lina's wrist as Jason tugged her slightly towards. "We should get going. All of us."
Piper stood up straight as an arrow and smiled, "Yep! Let's go."
The blonde shook her head, her thoughts were probably extremely wrong. There was no way Piper would do that.
"Fun! Let's go see what present the pyro has for us."
"Lina, he has a name."
"Fine, let's go see what present Leo the pyro had for us."
