"What do you mean you prefer Fox to Mario?" Jin was absolutely hysterical at the moment and all the group could do was watch as he went off on Taehyung.
"Get out of my house you swine!"
Taehyung was pouting on the couch as he got scolded while Namjoon and Jimin were cuddling in the corner and Hoseok was smiling at his phone on the opposite end of the couch. Taehyung's arms were crossed and his bottom lip was wobbling as if he were about to cry, but that wasn't enough to stop the furious hyung.
"Hyung, I just like being Fox more when it comes to Melee," Taehyung was now holding his knees against his chest with his head between his legs, so his voice was a little muffled, but Seokjin was relentless.
"Mario is obviously the superior choice though, and then you had the gall to beat Mario with your peasant of a character!"
At this point, Taehyung may have actually started crying like the sensitive child he is, and Jimin was suddenly next to him rubbing his back while glaring at Jin. Jeongguk grabbed his boyfriend's arm before Jin had the chance to say something else.
"Hyung, Taehyung knew he could never beat you as Mario because you are just the best at him, so he had to use another character. You are still the best at Mario and it doesn't mean he thinks that Fox is better than Mario. Do I need to take you somewhere else to cool down baby?" The dark haired boy had finally calmed down now and was able to see that he reduced a baby boy to tears.
Jin gasped before shoving Jimin away from Taehyung so that he could hug the boy himself.
"I'm sorry Tae, come on, let me make it up to you," and with that, Jin picked up the smaller male and carried him off to another room, Jeongguk followed right behind them.
"They aren't about to, you know..." Jimin looked after the trio with curious disgust.
"Knowing Jin hyung, I think that is exactly what they plan to do." Namjoon walked over to Jimin's new couch spot and sat next to him, snuggling into his side.
Both of them disregarded the sunshine sitting on the other edge of the couch as Jimin began to pepper kissing along his giggling boy's neck. He was in the middle of a section underneath Namjoon's ear when he remembered that he still needed to ask the boy out. All he knew was that it couldn't involve clowns, carnations, or butterflies. He was brought out of his thoughts by a needy Namjoon that was whining at the loss of contact, and Jimin just shook his head before continuing to play with his princess' hair and peck his neck.
He really needed this boy to be officially his.
And then Taehyung's moans began to ring through the apartment and Jimin was officially not thinking about anything besides covering his and Namjoon's ears.
"That is something I could have gone my whole life without hearing," Jimin laughed at Namjoon's words, nodding his head in agreement.
Hoseok had yelped at the noise and fallen off of the couch out of shock, and the disturbed trio agreed to flee to Yoongi's apartment until the others finished, Hoseok seemed a bit more excited about that than Namjoon and Jimin.
The three were still shuddering as they got into Jimin's car, and they didn't even notice the carnation sitting on the edge of the porch.

Honestly, where am I even going with this? I like to think that I am actually a decent writer, but I feel like I got so used to the text style of this story that I lost literally any narrative skill I used to have and then completely botched the potential of the whole carnation thing. Should I like, redo it, or are y'all happy with this? I think I need to evaluate everything that has happened so far and just see what needs fixing because it feels like an oof at the moment.
