It was cold. A blanket of snow was draped across the landscape, the only color among the monotonous grey and white was a few blinking signs along with the stoplights. Tarps covered all of the greenery, and there were no colorful outfits as everyone was inside-everyone but Jimin.

Jimin was scraping ice off of the windshield of his car. He had gone back to his own apartment after a while of not hearing from the stalker, and he was finally ready to see his princess again. Multiple items were already sitting in the passenger seat and Jimin smiled when he thought about all of the conversations that decided what he bought for Namjoon.

He was brought out of his thoughts when he realized he had finished scraping all of the ice off the windshield. Satisfied with the job, Jimin finally got into the car where he was greeted with warmth from the engine that had been running for ten minutes.

When Jimin finally started the drive to Namjoon's, the car was oddly silent. Normally there would be more noise from traffic, but for some reason, Jimin was one of the few that was out on the road. Turning on the radio to end the silence, Jimin couldn't help but grin when one of Namjoon's songs came on, rapping along as best he could. The rest of the drive was mainly Jimin being consumed by his nerves.

What if Namjoon doesn't say yes?

What if this is too soon?

I'm not even good enough for him.

Jimin was almost completely done with the idea when he reached Namjoon's apartment, but then he looked over at the passenger seat and saw it staring at him. The hermit crab sat in the enclosure Jimin bought and was looking at him with what felt like judgment, and suddenly Jimin felt like he was being mocked by a crab. With the motivation from his desire to spite the crab, Jimin got out of the car and grabbed everything from the passenger seat, making his way to Namjoon's apartment.

Namjoon was out with Jin and Jeongguk per Jimin's request, and Jimin had the keys to get into Namjoon's apartment from a prior visit. The frigid walk to the complex almost killed Jimin and the crab in his laundry basket of stuff, but they reached the doors before catching hypothermia. Jimin let out a sigh of relief and the sudden feeling of the hot air, taking the elevator to Namjoon's apartment.

When he got into the apartment he started setting up the contents of the laundry basket, starting with the crab and its enclosure. Soon various colors of candles of gentle scents, many plushies in vibrant pinks and purples, several different Ryan figurines, and a flash drive of 15,000 vines were scattered across the table as aesthetically as possible. He poured a glass of milk that he found in the fridge and then waited, slightly terrified that Namjoon wouldn't say yes.

Jimin was half asleep when he heard the door unlock and he quickly jerked himself awake and jumped to his feet, every ounce of nerves he had earlier suddenly returned with more intensity. In his terror, he didn't even realize that Namjoon had entered the room until he heard a gasp.

"Jimin? What are you doing here, and what is all of this?"

Jimin took in a deep breath before approaching Namjoon and looking up at him.

"Well, I'm here to finish 20 questions." Namjoon looked very confused but nodded anyway, so Jimin continued, "but only you can answer this one."

Namjoon tilted his head, "okay? What's the question?" Keeping his eyes on Namjoon's, Jimin did his best not to stutter his reply.

"Kim Namjoon, my final question for you is..." Jimin looked down for a moment as his anxiety came back and he was about to spiral into self-loathing once again when he felt two warm hands guide his head back up.

"Actually Jimin, it was my turn to ask the question this time. Park Jimin, will you be my boyfriend?"

Jimin said yes right before he canceled his boyfriend for the first time for stealing his thunder.

It was wild, I was going through the 20 questions parts and counting them as I wrote down all the information, and somehow, there were 19 asked, which made this even more fitting. For once not being able to count came in handy.

Well, that occurred. Honestly, that feels kind of like an ending, but I'm not sure? It was pretty shitty but I will edit as I improve my writing...hopefully I will improve.

Thank you for sharing this adventure with me, do you think this is a good place to end the first book? If so, do you want a sequel or the spin-offs of TaeJinGguk and Sope?
