For the next four weeks, Jade kept going to school and she was failing miserably.

She had a Chemistry test a week ago and she got two percent for writing her name correctly.

Ms Buckley wasn't happy at all with Jade and made sure Jade took down every single letter on the blackboard.

Jade could barley look at Jules. She reminded her to much of Julia which made Jade want to curl up in a ball of guilt and cry.

"Jaaaaddeeee." Jules' voice rang out from behind her as she was walking through the corridors.

She stopped short and sighed. She knew she'd have to face Jules sooner or later.

She spun on her heel to find Jules with a beaming smile on her face. "Want to hang later? I just thought we could get to know each other better-"

"I'm busy tonight sorry." Jade tucked a strand of hair behind her ear.

Jules' face fell. "Oh well, tomorrow?"

Jade gritted her teeth but smiled. "Tomorrow would be great."

Jules smiled widely and hugged Jade tightly. "I'm so excited!" She pulled away and gasped. "We can have a sleepover! And have pillow fights, do each other's make-up....."

Jade tried to protest but Jules only giggled. "Can't wait till tomorrow! See ya around!"

She skipped away happily, singing a song to herself as Jade sighed deeply.

"What the hell have I gotten myself into?"

Jade sat at the bar, taking a long gulp out of her beer bottle. For the past month or two she'd been secretly going out to the bar and drinking.

The bartender arched a brow as she slammed the empty bottle down on the beermat.

"Another?"

Jade shook her head. "Just give me the bottle of vodka and a few cans."

The bartender stared at her but didn't object. He got out six cans of cool beer and a bottle of vodka.

"That'll be forty dollars please."

Jade handed him forty bucks and grabbed the drink, stumbling a little as she exited the bar.

She slowly drove home and walked up the stairs and locked her bedroom door and began to drown all of her horrors and problems away.

Robertson burst Jades door open with a fierce kick of his boot, gun aimed.

"JADE!"

He looked at the bed to find Jade past out with an empty bottle of vodka in her hand. Empty scrunched up beer cans were tossed all over the joint.

Robertson put away his gun and sighed heavily. "Not a goddamn drinking problem."

"JADE!" He screamed.

A groggy Jade awoke and she yawned as she rolled over on the bed. She groaned as she closed her eyes again.

"Jade," Robertson said again. "Get up."
