Chapter Seven

// YAH, ARE YOU TURNING INTO SHREK NOW

The day went on without any special scenarios 'til evening. KiKu was having a very deep conversation with Eunhee's grandmother at the pool. They both had their feet in the water and sat next to each other. She felt at ease talking to Eunhee's grandmother. Just as she would talk with her own. Maybe the friendship of our squad was really meant to be...

"Halmeonim, it's kinda scary how easy it is to talk to you. Halmeoni would be glad to meet you again!"

"Well, after Dae-Suk, your hal-abeoji, left with Jang-Mi, your halmeoni, to travel the world, we lost contact. I'm not sure if she'd like to see me. Well, how should I say...We didn't really part in a good way, I mean...I don't know if I should be telling you my mistakes of my youth but I was angry at them for leaving me here alone. But never mind, you seem like a nice girl Byun KiKu.", Eunhee's grandmother smiled at KiKu and KiKu returned it. She made a self note to bring these two friends back together and ask her halmeoni about it.

"That makes me very happy, halmeonim." KiKu heared a voice calling her. They both turned around and saw Sanha and Junha looking at KiKu with puppy eyes. "Noona, will you play with us soccer?"

"Yah, how is she supposed to say no if you look at her like that!", the elder woman shook her head and slowing stood up.

"I think you'll have to go, KiKu-yah."

"I guess so, thank you halmeonim.", KiKu took the ball from Sanha's hands and they made their way towards the free area in the middle of the garden.

"Hyung, turn the music louder!", Yeosang told Soonyoung, who was sitting right next to the driver, Minho.

"Oh, no, change the song.", Wooyoung shouted from the back. They were in an open truck on the highway. Right next to them was another one. Two trucks, red and blue, side by side in the evening on the highway. In the open back seats of the blue one were Kang Yeosang, Kim Hongjoong, Choi Yunho, Choi Minki and Jung Wooyoung seated, in the front Song Minho and Kwon Soonyoung. In the red one was Park Seonghwa driving and right next to him Choi Youngjae. In the back were Choi San, Song Mingi, Choi Jongho, Kang Dongho and Kwon Siwon sitting.

It was 8pm and Soonyoung had picked up half the boys on the way to his cousins place and the other half he got from there. Seonghwa did the same and since around 7pm the groups of boys went to convenience stores, bought some drinks and went on a ride 'til they all had to go to Soonyoung's family dinner. He had enough of those get-togethers. Don't get him wrong, he loved his family a lot. But they met at least twice a month, in summer even more often. Since his full family is very close with each other, most of his family knew his friends by heart since he brought them along most of the times.

"YAH, HONGJOONG HYUNG! TELL SOONYOUNG HYUNG THAT EUNHEE WROTE JONGHO THAT HIS AUNT WANTS US HOME NOW!", Mingi shouted twice from the other car towards the blue truck until Hongjoong understood. He held his thumb up and turned towards the front and passed the information.

San and Wooyoung were playing rock, paper, scissors over the cars and Yunho and Yeosang were screaming to the songs. Minki had his camera in the air and filming everything. He was passionate in film making, sadly his parents would never allow him to study his desire. Siwon, who was resting his head on Donghos head, got a call. He felt the vibrating of his phone through his jeans and quickly pulled it out. It was a FaceTime from his uncle's mobile phone.

"Oppaaaaaa, you picked up. Eomma gave us appa's phone to call you. You guys shall come home and oh, halmeoni wants to see your magic tricks.", his baby sister Jimin told him.
