Byun Kiku's p.o.v.
The noise of my suitcase against the pavement filled the quiet early morning air. It was unusual for the neighborhood to be this quiet but I guess it's never too late for surprises. Exactly one week after the party had past and to be honest, I didn't know how I felt. I mean, of course, I was happy to see my sister again but recalling the memories of the past week made feel annoyed. Who did I become to be stressed over someone? Exactly, Choi San was just someone in my life I casually felt attracted to and loved to play the push and pull game with. He drove me crazy with not talking about what happened and acting like nothing happened but then randomly becoming super touchy in secret and leaving me utterly confused. But as I once said before, two can play this game and I packed the best clothing I had.
From far away I could see the silhouettes of people at the bus station we agreed to meet. The plan was to drive together to the airport, fly to Jeju where we rented cars to drive to the harbor and then take the car ferry to Udo, simple, isn't it? Our whole day would be on the road that's why we decided to be more rebellious than normal and don't go to university this Friday. We were sure it would be suspicious if all of us weren't there but it's university... as if someone cared.
"Aye, chicos!"
"Kiku! Finally, now only San and Seonghwa are left!", Hongjoong said as he put his arm around my neck. "I'm glad to see you too...", I said and Hongjoong came near to my ear as he whispered. "I brought some stuff for us to enjoy the stay in Udo even more!", he whispered in a sing-song voice and I started to smirk as I exactly knew what he was talking about. Hopefully, he wouldn't be caught by the airport police but Hongjoong wasn't careless. He probably hid it well. I licked my lip and stared at him. "I'm more than excited, chico!" I mouthed to him and I didn't realize that I was dangerously close to him until San and Seonghwa arrived and caught my attention. Yeosang came over to me and hugged me from behind which made Hongjoong pull away from me. He snuggled his face into my neck and I let a laugh out. "Yah, you acting as If I hadn't been at your place just yesterday." He let go and turned me around and laid his hands on my bare waist. "You stole another one of my hoodies with the excuse of wearing it today, hm... I don't see it anywhere." "Don't you worry, I would never lie to you, Mr. Kang. Your pullover is well packed in my backpack in case I'm cold through-out the day." Yeosang nodded cutely in respond and I smiled as well. "Bus is coming!", I could hear Yunho's attempt to inform and gather everyone and Yeosang and I made our way towards the bus. "By the way, how's your girlfriend doing?" I asked as we went on the bus with our luggage in hand. "Obviously she wasn't thrilled of me going on a trip with all of you but I mean, she had the opportunity to tag along and if she can't because of some random friend's birthday then that's not my fault. He's not some random friend but you still understand, right?" "Yes, seems like there's trouble in paradise...Tell me 'bout it" So the drive to the airport until we were about to board the plane was filled with the relationship problems of Yeosang and his girlfriend. My eyes were observing the place for Eunhee who wanted to sit with me, but she was nowhere in sight. I turned around and saw her talking with one of the girl friend's of probably Seonghwa until Jongho called her. Eunhee looked around and locked eyes with me before apologetically smiling at me and walking to Jongho. And there went my seat partner... So I searched for the seat number on my boarding ticket and my way there. Let's see who will be sitting next to me. Since we had booked everything together, our seats all were next to each other throughout 2 rows of seats. As I reached my seat and put my backpack into it's destined place, I was greeted with beautiful green eyes. "I guess I'm sitting next to you.", a brunette third semester said as she smiled. She sat down on the inside and I sat down right next to the corridor. As I got to know, her name was Goo Haeryung and her mother was from Afghanistan that's why she didn't look quite Korean. I had a small chat with her and got to know her a bit better when my phone vibrated and I realized I forgot to turn it off. I checked my notification and saw that I got full-on spammed by Yunho who as far as I know was seated at the window.
