//more of a devil in disguise

I was frustrated. The equations in front of me made no sense and It was already 9 pm. With a quick movement, I hit the desk in the library and went to the water dispenser. Thankfully, the universities library was open 24/7 since I couldn't concentrate at home with my mother and all of our neighbors doing Zumba in our living room. After gulping down the cup of water and throwing the paper cup away, I went back to the desk I was trying to study at and got out my wallet and phone from my bag. If I'm not able to understand anything, I should at least go and grab something to eat. "Could you look after my stuff for a short while?", I asked the girl two seats away from me. She smiled and nodded and I thanked her before I made my way out of the library. Where was the vending machine again? Looking around, I remembered it was near the main hall and made my way there. It's Friday and I had managed to get away from all my friends. The girl I met in the bathroom had texted me the address and I told my friends about it over the group chat. I mean, they could go, Chaerin asked for them, too. But next month were our first exams and I had made a strict plan to finish all of my exams to leave none of them for the second semester. I arrived at the vending machine and put the necessary coins in to get the dried mango package. As I picked the package out of the machine, I felt my left buttcheek vibrating. Unlocking my phone, I saw I had a message from San. My heart started to beat slightly faster and I wondered what it was. I haven't talked to any of them since I was kinda ignoring them, especially San cause it bothered me that he had so much impact on me after so little time. And he probably doesn't know.

Choi San:

U still in the library? I bought some Turkish Kumpir

That came unexpected, but it made me smile. I loved potatoes, especially baked.

Byun KiKu:

Really? I'm by the vending machine but yh I'm there. You here?

Choi San:

Outside of the library, no loud food allowed in there uk

I smiled after reading the message. Making my way towards the library, I walked past glass windows and I realized I looked like shit. I had prepared myself for a good study session, which included comfy clothes, some slippers, and a really messy bun. It didn't bother to me how I appeared since I only came to study in the library but now that San was showing up I felt embarrassed. Fuck, KiKu. I stopped in front of the windows and tried to make my self look somehow appealing.

"Are you really fixing yourself in front of the window right now?", San's voice startled me and I turned around with a hand on my beating heart. The heat was rising to my cheeks but I managed to say:

"Don't ever scare me like that again and no. I wasn't doing anything.", he smiled before coming up to me. "Ah, really?... But Byun KiKu, tell me why are you blushing?" Without responding I walked past him and tried to rub the redness from my cheeks. "I still have things left in the library, let me gather them." After gathering my things from the library, I took my backpack and looked at San who was standing at the entrance. I couldn't lie, everything he wore made him look stunning. So what would it look like without? Oh my god, KiKu. Stop it with the unholy thoughts.

"I'm done."

"Good, we can go outside and eat. In the main hall are s little too many students.", I nodded and we made our way outside to the tables. He put the bag on the table and slowly got out all the food he had bought plus something to drink. My eyes lit up at the beautiful sight and I thanked San. "But how come you were feeling so generous tonight?", I asked as I dug into my potato. "Well, I won a bet so the money wasn't even mine.", I looked up and met his eyes from across the table. "Still, thank you Sanie. I appreciate it." "Why didn't you go to the party. After all, you were the one invited." "As I texted y'all. I wanna nail those exams in a month and I have the perfect plan. Partying isn't included.  But me not being able to understand some of it, wasn't calculated in as well.", I answered while taking a bite. "Why are you here?" San gulped before shrugging.

"To be honest, it was kinda boring." "No girls?", to be honest. I have no idea why I asked that question. I actually didn't want to hurt myself.

"Sure, there were here and there. But none of them perked my interest.", I released the air I didn't know I was holding and felt relieved. "What about the rest?"

"Jongho and Eunhee were together as always. I mean why don't they confirm it already. We all know there's something going on. Wooyoung stayed there with Mingi, saying something along the lines of 'girl problems' and that he hadn't got laid in a while." "And then he's tryna make me believe he ain't a fuckboy.", I chuckled while taking a sip of the water bottle San bought. "He really isn't someone who breaks hearts. It's just the role he gets put in. The only thing is he's a normal Korean boy with lust and hormones that need to be satisfied once in a while.", I pursed my lips. "Well, Choi San. That was well said. Are you a normal Korean boy, too?" San smirked before answering. "Byun KiKu, I'm more of a devil in disguise." "Oh, really?", I asked amused as I was finishing my food. "You haven't even seen the best of me, Byun KiKu." "Well, Choi San. When are you planning to show me?", I asked provocatively. I liked the direction our conversation was going and tried to be nervous as little as possible. San stood up from his seat and walked to me. His was towering over me and looked me directly in the eyes. He made his way down and our faces were only a few inches apart. The night sky wasn't as beautiful as his eyes. In his chocolate brown eyes which could make any girl melt in a second. The moonlight was shining directly into his eyes which made them twinkle. He brought his face closer but I didn't dare to close my eyes. He was so close to me and right before thought he would seel our lips said boy moved his head to the side and whispered in my ear with a low voice. "Soon." He parted and I was so shocked. He began to chuckle before slowly cleaning up the table. Millions of thoughts were going through my head but they were stopped when Sans honey-like voice spoke again. "You said you didn't plan to not understand some of the things. Where are you struggling, I may be able to help you?" Choi San was just a sexy, hormone filled guy and I hadn't seen that coming. But why should I complain, I liked that. "Yeah, I think you might be able to. You looked like you understood everything, Mr. Pak said.", I finally answered and stood up to help him. We finished cleaning up and I lifted my backpack. I got out the equations I was trying to do earlier and showed them to him who now sat down right next to me. "Oh, this. Yes, I got you. You see, you have to take the density of-" "But why do I even need the density in the first place?", I interrupted him and raised one of my eyebrows in confusion. San's eyes lit up understandingly. "Oh, Byun KiKu. We have a long night before us..."
