//get a grip over yourself
"Try it again. It's not my fault. You just suck at throwing!", KiKu yelled at Jongho, who was trying to throw berries into KiKu's mouth. "I suck at throwing? Yeah, keep telling yourself that...", he said while highlighting the "I". "Jongho-yah, let me try. I didn't make the school team win without talent!", Yunho took the berries from Jongho and tried to throw them into KiKu's mouth. He didn't miss.
"Hah, Jongho, you really suck, see?", KiKu laughed out loud and high-fived Yunho. It was afternoon and over the past weeks she grew closer to the friend group of Wooyoung and San. Some of them had free time 'til there next lesson and other were just here 'cause they were trying to ran away from all the learning they actually had to do. "Uh, I wanna try too!", Eunhee took the berries from Yunho and threw them to KiKu, out of 5 berries Eunhee threw, KiKu only catched 3 which made the two girl still happy and they were high-fiving and jumping around. After they calmed down again, Eunhee whispered into KiKu's ear. The latter nodded and the the two distanced theirselves from the group. "Eonnie, something happened..."
As the two were walking, Eunhee continued. "Well, I mean I don't know if you noticed but over the last weeks Jongho and me got more closer..." KiKu turned her head towards the girl and looked at her knowingly. "How couldn't I notice?" Eunhee blushed before continuing. "So you remember how I told you a two weeks ago how Mingi oppa made my heart beat faster? Like, yikes, Mingi oppa is still hot as fuck but... I shouldn't be feeling this but now I feel this way about Jongho.", Eunhee covered her face in frustration as they walked further away. "Eunhee-yah, why are you so frustrated though? I mean you guys wouldn't be meeting up this much if there wasn't coming anything from his side as well." "Eonnie, I thought about that as well but the possibility that it's gonna end up one-sided is still there.", KiKu pulled the frustrated girl closer to her and hugged her. "Don't tell him that, yet.", KiKu told her while caressing Eunhee's hair. "Wait and look at how the situation turns out. Do some hints here and there and if you're still unsure of it, go ahead and make a move. Nothing more than rejection could happen and even than I'll be here for you!"
"Thank you, eonnie. I just feel like jumping right on him every time I see him.", she chuckled as they made their way back. They heard Jongho's and San's laughter and Eunhee couldn't help but smile. "Or smile everytime I hear his voice. Here, can you feel this?", Eunhee took KiKu's hand and pressed it onto her chest to feel her rapidly beating heart. "Aigoo, my small Eunhee!", KiKu said which made Eunhee pout. As Eunhee went away and KiKu sat down under one of the cherrie blossom trees she wondered why her heart was beating fastly too. "Yah, Byun KiKu!", KiKu shook her head and and looked up the voice that had interrupted her thoughts. The one and only Choi San was walking towards her and held his hand out. "I have to go and get ice cream for everyone, like to join?" KiKu locked her light brown eyes with his deep dark brown ones and smiled. She took his hand and he lifted her up. "You know what they all want?"
"Yeah, kinda.", he chuckled and it got silent. It wasn't an awkward silent, they just weren't used to a silent between them both. "I realized, I actually don't know that much 'bout you. Like yes, I know some basics, but who are you actually Choi San?", San looked at KiKu amused. "You realized that very quickly.", he mocked her. "Yah, better late than never!", she hit him with her elbow. "Yeah, yeah. Hm, so I currently live on my own. I love flowers and coffee, and video games. To be honest, if I didn't had the will to make at least a good amount for living, I probably would have wanted to become a florist or barista."
"Really? Now that you're saying it, flowers actually suit you very well!", KiKu said while mustering him. The cherrie blossom trees behind him and the sun shining on his face made everything look like a painting. "What do you mean?", San chuckled slightly confused. "Wait...", KiKu said while she pulled her phone out. "Stay like this!", she said while trying to take picture. She showed him the high-quality picture of himself and they started walking again. "I really am beautiful, wow." "That's all you have to say!", KiKu looked at him shocked. "I was joking!", he said laughingly while KiKu was hitting him. On the way to the ice cream parlor they continued their get-to-know talk, til they arrived. "If you want to have red streaks than do it!", San shrugged as they walked towards the counter. San ordered ice cream in cups for the rest and let them get packed up before he turned to KiKu and asked her what she wanted. "Hm, one stracciatella ice cream in a cone for me!", she said to the girl behind the counter. "For me strawberry.", San finished. After paying they left and San continued. "Oh and I have a sister in Udo but I don't see her that much. my parents were against her becoming a seafood-specialist cook. So she ran away and has a restaurant there.", KiKu's eyes widened. "Really? That's awful...but I have a sister in Udo, too. She's not really my sister, though. My parents adopted her long before I was born and now she's living in the south of korea cleaning the beaches and helping her best friend run a restaurant there. Funny how our both's sisters are out and doing everything they want, even if one of them had to leave everything behind.", she licker her lips and was completely obvious of San's stare at her. A fresh breeze hugged the two of them and KiKu's hair were all over the place. While holding the ice cream of the others in his one hand and putting his ice cream cup over it, he lifted his hand and picked some of KiKu's hair and put it behind her hair. KiKu looked up at the face of the taller one. In the sun with the wind slightly ruffling through his hair, KiKu was lost. San noticed her look on him and looked directly into KiKu's brown eyes after he finished picking her hair, even though the wind made them get all over the place again. Not knowing what the other was thinking nor any of them saying anything, they stayed like this for awhile. "Why do your lips look so kissable right now?", he whispered and KiKu's heart started beating rapidly. KiKu couldn't say anything. She only noticed his gaze going on and off from her eyes to her lips. Before she knew it, San pulled away. "Your ice cream, it's melting.", he whispered and KiKu looked down at her ice cream which was indeed melting just as the rest of the ice cream bowls. She quickly shook her head and they walked the rest of the way. Millions of thoughts were running through her mind, she caught herself glancing at him once in a while and she didn't know why. Fuck, KiKu. A while ago you were thinking about Mingi and now this shit happened...get a grip over yourself. The girl let out a deep sigh and before San could give it any reaction they were circled by the others. "Why did you take so long? The ices are halfway melted!", Yunho pouted while taking his ice cream. "You should have come with us then!", San hit back.
