The morning after Feyre had spoken to Aelin, the Night Court gathered in front of the manor to wait for her and her court. When they arrived Feyre was surprised by how many of them there were. She didn't know how many people she had expected but ten people seemed like a lot. Aelin strolled up and stood next to her.

"I'm so ready to get out of this place," she said with an exhausted sigh. Feyre studied Aelin closely. She looked exhausted and worried; the strain of fighting two different wars was showing clearly on her face and in her posture. Feyre could only imagine the pressure she was under. She would never know what it feels like to bear all that weight on her own; she would always have her mate there to bear it with her. She did not understand exactly what Aelin was dealing with but she'd do whatever she could to help ease her burden. Feyre smiled at Aelin and she smiled back wearily.

" Are you ready to go?" Feyre said, a gleam in her eyes, and Aelin nodded. "Then I think it's time I showed you my home," and they were gone, enveloped in night, finally leaving the Spring Court.
