9:42 AM - Thursday morning - Marisa's House - Dixon's perspective

The next morning, Justice came by to visit. She said she had an idea for how to help me after she had thought about it for a while.

"I know a spell that can restore someone's lost memories. Maybe if I use it on Valerie, she'll remember you." Justice suggested.

"It's worth a try, anyways." I nodded. "So, let's try it!"

"Try what?" Jade asked, coming up to us.

"Yeah, what are you talking about?" Evelyn added.

"It's kind of a long story.." I began, although my hyper little sisters wouldn't let me finish.

"Tell us!" Evelyn interrupted me.

"Yeah, we don't mind!" Jade agreed.

"Okay, in that case, I'll explain it." I gave in as Evelyn and Jade eagerly listened. "You see, I've been having these flashbacks about a white cat with blue eyes named Valerie, and I've been curious to know more about her, since she feels so familiar to me. It's like I used to know her...and I want to know her again!"

"And I'm here to help him." Justice added. "I'm going to try to use my memory-restoring spell on Valerie and hope that it helps her to remember Dixon."

"Cool!" Evelyn cheered.

"Awesome!" Jade joined in.

Justice looked at me. "We'd better get going. By now, Valerie should be outside working on Angelina's flower garden again."

"Right." I agreed as Justice and I left the house to find Valerie.

When we got to Angelina's orphanage, we immediately saw Valerie outside. Justice knew this was her chance, so she got ready to cast the spell while I stood by and watched. When Justice cast the spell on Valerie, she stopped what she was doing and looked around confusedly. I stepped forward and she spotted me.

"D....Dixon...?" Valerie stuttered. "Is that...you?"

"Yes, Valerie...it's me..." I replied with a gentle smile.

"It's been so long since I've seen you..." Valerie began. "No wonder I felt like I'd been forgetting something all my life...because I have been forgetting something--you!"

Valerie ran to me and hugged me while Justice watched from a distance. While she was hugging me, Valerie looked at Justice and mouthed the words: "Thank you" at her.

So, that should be the end of my story, right? I finally got my long lost sister to remember me again and everything is back to normal.

Well, that's what I would say, but this isn't happily ever after yet.

While Valerie and I were taking a moment to catch up, Angelina came out to see us together.

"Valerie! How dare you defy me yet again?!" Angelina barked at her. "I told you not to get involved with this boy anymore!"

Valerie stood up with a look of determination and stared Angelina straight in the eye. "How. About. No?"

"No?! Why, you little brat! Let me show you what happens when you disobey your mother!" Angelina shouted more. She tried to grab Valerie, but I stood in between them to try and stop it. Angelina didn't care, though, and simply shoved me aside, knocking me into a nearby tree. I fell to the ground in pain, and Valerie's terrified scream was the last thing I heard before blacking out...
