"So." I leaned back in the chair with Ty behind me, subtlety running his hand in strands of my hair, Julie focused way too hard on driving and Simon perplexed on how such a big dog could be so cuddly.

"So we are a band of criminals now?" I asked. I received several nods in response. "So today is a fucking eventful day." We sat for a few moments in silence before Julie spoke up.

"Yea, during this terrific Tuesday I just get increasingly confused and unable to keep track of all the bullshit withering its way into our lives." She complained. I could see her hands tense on the wheel in annoyance. "So, for starters, Ty how long have you had super powers?" He was silent for a few moments before speaking up.

"I, uh. You know there is a reason for not telling you guys." He mumbled. Julie kept gripping the wheel and the look of agitation on her face grew. It didn't change at his words.

"Look I think it was like three years ago, back when I had my sight. I was at a party and I was playing with lighters with my old team members. It got out of hand and we ended up setting a fire, we set a whole part of a house ablaze."

He took a breath and ran a hand through his hair to continue.

"I tried to stop it and found that I had made the fire surround us without touching us. I put out the fire with my mind, with my hands." His pace quickened as he told us the story. His voice was laced with stress, like him talking about it caused it to relive it again. "I was drunk, we were drunk. I starting playing with it in my hands I wasn't thinking straight, or seeing straight. I messed up and I fell over and had my eyes burned horribly." He mumbled as he told us but kept his posture.

"The last thing I ever saw was fire sprouting out my hands." He mumbled. "I try not to use my powers as much as I can. I did when Mia was stuck in the freezer and I did to get her out of where she was being held. I hate my powers. I hate how they can hurt people, and how dangerous it is, and I hate it."

We stayed silent in the car for a moment while Julie kept driving and sending us forward. She took a deep breath and moaned. Her hard face melted slightly as his pain, I could tell that she felt bad.

"I-I am sorry. I shouldn't have gotten so upset over something so stupid!" She complained. "I don't know at all at what you three went through, I don't have powers. I don't know how to help you with all of this." I looked over at her and smirked.

"Trust me, you are helping. You could have handed us over, but you didn't. Thank you." She looked over at me for a second before moving back to the road.

"Your welcome." She smirked. "You guys get some sleep, please. You have had a long fucking day." I yawned and laid back. I let my back rest against the seat and took a deep breath.

"Your right." I mumbled. I looked back at Simon who already was knocked out with Macy laying on his lap, sleeping with him. Watching the steady rise and fall of the dog's chest is what slowly put me to sleep.

When I woke up we were surrounded by greens. I opened my eyes and looked over at Julie who was passed out in the driver's seat and then at Ty who was still asleep.

Simon was awake though. He was facing out towards the woods, silent as the trees surrounding us. I turned my body to face him for a moment and spoke up.

"Are you ok?" He was silent again as he stood up and walked a few steps to the woods before stopping again. "Simon." I called out. He remained dormant and silent, staring off into the woods. I panicked for a second and pulled myself off of my seat with my upper body strength and sat in his seat, careful not to wake the sleeping pit-bull.

"Simon. Wake up." I called out. Suddenly his body disappeared for a moment as it reappearing facing me.

"Mia?" He mumbled. His hands disappeared and faded into the surroundings until he finally got control of himself. "Mia."
