A few hours later Burnham was tied to a chair in the warehouse, we even buried Macy. To top off our efforts of the battles aftermath we haven't seen Simon in a while. He probably needed space and we could all understand that.

Especially with what was going on now, he didn't need more on his plate right now. I was sitting on my wheelchair with Ty nearby, halfheartedly throwing pick-up lines at me to cheer us up. Even Florida was giggling at them though.

"Hey Mia." He started again. I rolled my eyes annoyed.

"Yes, Ty." My voice was flat and annoyed. This had been happening for almost an hour now.

"Are you a beaver, cause damn!" I groaned for what felt like the thousandth time at his antics. I looked at him, he looked so pleased with himself. Like annoying me was the best part of his day.

Knowing him, it probably was. How many pick-up lines do people just have, ready to go?"

And also, since our dead best friend was apparently a brain-washed assassin who had robotic limbs and a hatred for us. We needed to blow off some steam.

"Hey, Mia." I just threw my head down on my armrest as he continued. "Are you from Tennessee? Because you are the only ten I see."

"Damn it Ty, I don't even know what Tennessee is!" Me blowing my lid just caused Ty and Florida to laugh even harder. Florida didn't even know what Tennessee was either so she has no right.

That's when I heard a slight chuckle coming from the chair.

I looked over and saw him waking up slightly. I told Florida to wait outside, so it was just us three.

"Surprising that you didn't kill me yet." He stated, looking between the two of us. "I had my money on Mr. Myers." I could feel the heat radiating from Ty at Burnham's comments. I don't know what had happened before between these two, but Burnham put Ty on edge just as much as he did to me.

"Shut up Burnham, you're not in control anymore." I growled. He just looked at me with a smirk.

"I am always in control."

"Funny, considering you're the one tied to the chair." I looked at him, hoping for a break in his facade but found none. He just looked at me and smirked. "Julie, where did she go."

"I have a question." We just looked at him for a moment. "You hate me so much, why didn't you kill me? You easily could have." We just looked at him for a moment, my eyebrows furrowed. He had no idea how close I was. Or maybe he did? Maybe that was why he rubbed it in my face.

"Where did Julie go?" Ty asked, repeating my question more harshly.

"So, you found my toy?"

"You can leave, and I can have Julie here, all to myself for me to do as I please."

I shook the scene out of my head as I looked at his expecting face. He just smiled at me and stared into my soul, as if he was penetrating my thoughts. I tried to focus on him other than the scene replaying behind him.

How could I still be seeing my memories replaying before my eyes. He was the cause before, he hacked my mind. Yet, here he was and my mind was still fried. He could tell too, and that sickened me.

"How does it feel Ms. Black. To know how deeply wounded you are. To know that the visions will never go away, how does it feel knowing how much you fight and run, you will never escape me. I will never go away Mia." The world disappeared in black as I looked around the room, just me and him. Everything else was desolate and dark and he took over my mind.

"Mia, how does it feel to know, that I have won." Suddenly a large forced slammed down onto him, a fist crashing into his jaw and ending his words, if only for a moment.
